This set list appears to be from their 82’ European Tour; which would be their last Tour as This Heat. I have their Final Concert on my channel, this set isn’t my *favorite* set list from This Heat; notably the cut of Paper Hats, Saigon, Horizontal Hold in favor of Hayward’s material (which is still gold, but not as good as the full band jamming it out to Horizontal Hold’s packaged insanity)
Regardless, great sound and great performance.

Don't think this is from 1980. This is from the very end of the band's existence after Gareth Williams left. That's Trefor Goronwy on bass and Ian Hill on Keys. Goronwy joined This Heat in 1982, and went on to work with Hayward in Camberwell Now.

The band performing in the video is This Heat. They broke up and went on to form different bands (Camberwell Now, The Lifetones), recently the drummer/singer and the guitarist/singer (Charles Hayward, and Charles Bullen, respectively) got together and assembled a live band and are playing/touring under the name... This Is Not This Heat.

It's really interesting b/c I just discovered this band after many years of listening to the Cure, Joy Division, and a whole bunch of other post-punk. These guys seem to have been light years ahead of all these bands. I guess it was just too obscure back then for people to really understand how groundbreaking it was. Then it's really dark music so probably not the most accessible.
