I definitely recommend tinting your back tail lights. It gives it a very good 👍 look 👀

@Precision Wraps & Graphics was looking for this product. Glad I found your video. Have a couple of questions, hope you can answer.
Will this survive 100 degree summer weather and car washes?
Will the dark smoke significantly reduce the headlights and tail lights brightness ( safety issues)?
How much do you think a shop should charge to wrap headlights and taillights? The install is too intricate for me. I'd rather have a pro do it.
      Thanks

There’s a better technique to install for that specific light and too much film was being used not bashing at all it’s just we both know how expensive their film is saving as much as you can goes a long way especially for side marker lights. Tack the film on the bed side first, heat and glass the film on bed side, install the film into the recessed area pull the film back from the tailgate area heat the film and glass it again, the install would be much faster and sufficient. Wrapping skills are on point tho I’m loving the videos 🔥🔥🔥

That looks good. I was told the mid-smoke was really dark. But it doesn’t look super dark on your video unless you just have great lighting?? What do you think in comparison to the dark and light?

Do you know if this will effect the blind spot monitoring system built into some tail lights?

I can’t say for sure, we did not have any issues. We also wrap over parking sensors all the time with no issues.

My tail light tint I just got looks almost brown in certain lighting I’m planning on having it removed tomorrow. Is that normal? It looks awful to me.

Every tint is different we only use Lux Light wrap, it has a very slight purple hue but it almost a perfect black

How’s this look 6-12 months later in the sun?
    Any shrinkage or crackling/fading effect.
I want a tint that’s removable without residue a year later . Not something that gets fused to the plastics

There’s no way there’s isn’t 10 lift lines in that film. Start at the edge not in the middle man. It’s a complex curve. All you did was take the tension from the middle where it need to be to the edges. Need to start and a edge and glass like a bumper. Pop the film from the middle to get rid of horizontal fingers. Ideally this way the film is 100% dispersed on tension, and you don’t have a million lift lines. Maybe 1-2

It has a little brown hue, but isn’t noticeable on the light. Looks better than a purple hue!
