“GUANGLING San” (《广陵散》), widely considered one of the most important guqin pieces in Chinese music history, is closely related to two historical figures of great bravery - the assassin Nie Zheng in the Warring States Period (403-221 BC) and scholar Ji Kang, who interpreted the piece so brilliantly that it became a household name during the Western Jin Dynasty (265-316 AD).
The king kills a sword maker because he could not deliver a sword on time and so Nie Zheng wants revenge. He lives on mountains and plays gugin for 10+ years and becomes famous. The king wants to hear Nie Zheng plays gugin and he kills the king. Then he defaces his face and commits suicide. Why have not I committed suicide yet ? Is the only serious question of philosophy because life is no joke. Man alone suffers so deeply That he has to invent laughter. Why is there laughters When this world is on fire ?

可能是录制视频的时间局限吧，从头到尾弹奏的速度都很快，那种要陶醉敌人的氛围就没了。乐者(聂政) 弹奏此曲的目的就是先麻醉敌人而后行刺的。此曲的背景跟那种肃杀的氛围实在不宜多听或在家里播放。这里要点赞这位演奏家弹奏古琴的功夫，难得。
