Thank you the review of these tires. Just finished my Phoenix build including servos for o/d and dig. I had planned to buy the Tusks based on your previous experiences with them on many trucks and was looking hard at the Landmines. After your review I have decided to go ahead and get both, I think both tires will do very well here in the Pacific Northwest. Aside from the stock foams from JConcepts are there any that you would switch out to for Argentum? Try to stay cool down there, we had a high of about 75 here today.
The Tusk responds well to the double bun, and the nuclear option is Squid'nserts, which basically feel like cheating. Argentum has been on the Squids for awhile now, they are remarkably good.
The paint is Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating (silver.) It's not as shimmery as some paints that call themselves "metallic," but it's a pretty nice silver. I use it A LOT.
Like too see good shootout between tusks landmines and hyrax all on same truck same wheels doing a dirt climb sand rock climb slick rock climb and side hill on hard surface.

Yeah, I'm sticking with Tusks. Their versatility puts them at the top for me. Of the four, the Tusks are the best all-rounder IMO. On the Phoenix, at least.
This was great, I've been eyeing the Class 1 Landmines. They seem to be popular here in the Oregon/Washington area.

What color Paint is the silver? Is it metallic at all?

Use a little blue loctite on the wheel nuts. Mine never come loose

J concepts ruptures . I got a set . They work anywhere I think .
