Vulture is my favorite. I have the most success taming lizards as a vulture. How? Step 1: fill a suitable shelter with lots of corpses. Step 2: locate a nearby friend. Step 3: swoop down on his unaware butt and grab him. Step 4: bring him to your nest, showing him how good of a provider you are. Step 5: once you have put him down, back up a bit and do a little dance. If he dances back, he’s been tamed. Step 6: enjoy your new friend! Step 7: get killed in your nest when your lizard friend tries to eat a corpse near u and accidentally grabs you instead.
I wish they nerfed the hunger drain and upped the health to atleast survive not getting one shotted because the lizard game vulture as it is now is a complete joke compared to the rainworld vulture which is considered to be somewhere at the top of the food chain lol
I think it is still pretty strong as long as you focus more on swooping down and flying away if u miss the first strike. If anything finds your shelter tho ur ded unless they are nice.
There are extremely hard to reach shelters for cultures. And they are absolutely killers with that long grab. Sounds like a skill issue. i always win fight as vulture kinda Sounds like skill issue ngl.

Im not sure if this is common knowledge but centipedes, when eating rotting carcasses, produce blue mushrooms. So needless to say I'm starting my own farm rn

@@Neso_azetas Fair, fair- looking back, this was a harder style in playing the game. But the first time I discovered it, a lightbulb of stupidity appeared and I had to test the viability. Dragging the centipedes while making sure they were alive was a hassle. I had to get a surplus of corpses and wait for the rest to rot as I got more. It didnt help that the mushrooms also despawn after a while. Would I recommend doing this? Absolutely not. But was it fun seeing the cave be lit with blue and orange hues? Hell yeah!
Vultures can eat rotten food, their hunger drain is a lot but if you know how to move very quickly, you can prioritize green lizzy corpses and eat the small lizzy corpses to keep your food at 4, don't go above 4 because i think it drains faster when your food is above 4, save getting above 4 for when the storm comes. The most important thing to you is getting green lizzy corpses but also FINDING A DEN AND OR SPAWNING NEAR ONE. As for regular lizards, most of the corpses outside won't spoil so just be quick to grab big corpses for eating purposes, find a big den to store them in, and learn lizard kung-fu so you can scrap with other lizards when you see 'em :P big den = big corpses, many corpses Basically the same as Vulture, get lots of big corpses for you to feast on and get lots of food pips. Stay out of the rain.
So miros can get 1 shotted by a green,like just a bite and it’s dead,kinda dumb there is no health,a orange lizard can take 3 hits to kill as a green but takes 1 hit from an orange lizard to just swing around for a green to die from a any other lizard
I think volture dosnt even attack green lizards cuz they are too big so they shouldnt be able to pick then up and greens woldnt be able to one hit them Edit: in rain world

@@5P_OFFICIAL sorry for responding inside of 4 months but I'm pretty sure the harpoons would only be accessories for the Vulture. If there was a way there would work they would need to make a system where lizards can be impaled or something now.
Actually its so hard to dig as vulture and its big and drain hunger so fast like 25 seconds how you can dig so long a big hole and storage area for food so if your lazy digging as vulture just find a big hole that were abandoned

this game really does its job at making you feel enormus and powerful when you're a big chonks that dies to one bite.
fun fact: at the top of some mountains, there's a huge hole that vultures can sit in and bring food to, it makes it very easy to survive
