2:51 the chat is species based, global for group members (dino name will be green) and local (near you) for same species creatures (dino name will be white) this makes roars the only way (exepct third party chat apps) to communicate with other species / dinosaurs
If you die, you lose all growth. Since as the cera you still had growth left after disconeting, it means that the disconnection lost you growth, but you didn't die

Tell people in your next vid if you can, to join the 2 Meso servers, and Look at the Trello, go to the Roster section, click on a dino name, and it has all the info for most of the upcoming dinos, and their abilities in that spot. Also if your interessted here is my personal list of dino's from least difficult to most difficult to survive: Easy: Microraptor (glide), Fabrosaurus (hide), Gallimimus (run). The easiest to grow, these are used mostly for growth, short play sessions or spectating. And in certain cases, harrasment Medium: Achillobator (climb). Even when not skilled it is dangerous in a pack Hard: Siamotyrannis (swim and avoid cannibals) and Achelousaurus (stay and fight or stay hidden). While not very complex (only two attacks), making a mistake is very punishing Hardest: Ceratosaurus (stay and fight or stay hidden) and Maiasaurus (run, unless Achillo or Dilo). Due to their many types of attacks, it takes time to know where and when to use them I haven't tried dilophosaurus yet, so idk how difficult it is to survive
@@SkullShark360 Cerato is probably the hardest in the entire game. Since it has many different attacks, and you can't easily run away from big dino's, unlike Maiasaurus Unlucky you tried that one as your second playable
@@thewatermelon1242 in this game its just like a different animal's pattern with maybe some slight differences in the model itself.We have a snow leopard achillobator, theres been secretary bird galli,and striped hyena cera shown.They are just purely cosmetic and nothing crazy.

when you leave the game ur Dino stays in the game for another 20 seconds during that time it can still be killed

Skins in this game dont change any stats or anything,they are purely cosmetic and optional.
Well those skins change the whole creature, I’m just talking about different color patterns or lighter/darker skins
