studio Ghibli has a very unique style that just seems timeless. No matter how old or young you are, I think you will enjoy the movies because of excellent story telling and top-notch animation. If there was ever a a modern-day representation of the worlds' culture, I would say that at least one Studio Ghibli film should be present to show the timeless values that humanity treasures. While some may say that the movies are no different from other children's movies meant to teach lessons, I say that they probably haven't watched one of the SG films. As I said before, there is a unique quality to SG films, watch one to experience it!
They treat children with care and respect, putting morals and deep philosophies in their movies. Even though the kids might not know it consciously, they are aware of the world around them and are much more intelligent than other kids movies make them out to be.
These movies were my childhood but now i am in my 20s and I am still enjoying them. Their way of bringing the story to life with the unique animation is just beyond words and they pay attention even to the little detail. The art and story does not only make these movies so special it is also the soundtrack that makes these movies what they are and represent for all of us. I learned a lot watching these masterpieces! I hope that the next generation and all generation will also enjoy them as much as I did!

It's not that DIsney is bad, I just feel like Disney thinks kids aren't smart and only need a very basic good guy/bad guy plot with some princesses and poorly-woven romance. Ghibli Studios understands that kids are much smarter than they are, and throw actual morals into their movies so that you would remember them for the rest of your life. Please watch as much of their movies as possible each and every single one if them is unique and beautiful.
I am playing this music every morning welcoming my kindergarten students to classroom. The music brings calmness as they enter and play quietly waiting for class to begin. Thank you.

I like Studio Ghibli because the endings aren't cheesy like in some Disney movies. They make you wondering about so many things, but it's not so much of an open ending that it's annoying.
Day 8 Today i did a LOT of schoolwork, 3 weeks worth of Church History in ONE DAY. It was kinda stressful. I feel so proud of being done, and I'm listening to this music to relax and reward myself for that unusual display of hard work.

Some of the greatest animated films of all time. Some of the greatest films of all time actually. I really do think my love of animation was birthed by both Disney and Ghibli. As far as Ghibli is concerned, mostly Castle in the Sky, though also a little bit of Nausica and Totoro.
I love Ghibli’s films so much, I’m not as old as a few people in the comment section. But even if I’m younger my parents have given me the blessing of allowing me to watch these beautiful films. And I love each. and. every. one.

Day 5 Today i visited an old plantation house, which is sorta a museum now. It had this beautiful garden - no flowers - just green trees, shade, and peace. It was wonderful. I was thinking of totoro and humming path of the wind to myself :)
Miyazaki is literally the best anime producer in history. Evangelion has got nothing on Nausicaa Your lie in April isn't as sad as Grave of the Fireflies Attack on Titan... actually no. Day 2 Today has been a kinda sad day for me because i was visiting Yorktown with my family so i couldn't be on my tablet until now. See, my boyfriend and i can only connect online, so this was hard for me. And also i didn't have music to listen to.
