@@Sarahdickinsonsm159 Or he could have gotten struck by lightning like Buck - but none of that matter, he himself didn't matter in this situation. All he could think about was Buck.
Also, is it just me or do they become almost superhuman when it comes to saving each other? Buck, the guy who got crushed by a ladder truck, rolled under one in seconds after Eddie was shot in order to get to him, and here Eddie gets thrown in the air, hits the ground hard and probably cracks a few ribs (if not worse), but he *instantly* gets back up and rushes to Buck - in fact he's the first to react.

@@qwentingreer6793 I agree. I think just given the circumstances that Chimney was originally going to go up the ladder, but Buck decided to go instead, that Chimney will feel back about switching.
Did anyone else notice how Bobby stumbled backwards as Chim was working on Buck? I love the father/son dynamic between them. This was one heart wrenching episode with one heck of a cliffhanger. Ugh.
Buddy, kid, cowboy. The amount of love and care 118 have for Buck is beautiful. It breaks my heart seeing how worried they are hearing there voices breaking holding back their tears. Buck is just too valuable for them, Buck is everything for them just like 118 is for him it works both ways💛

That scream that Buck made when he got hit is horrible. Just full of pain and surprise and terror. Also Chim's desperation and obvious panic and the tears in his eyes and voice... oh my god. Hen's face of fear kills me. Eddie's desperation when climbing up to him just kills me. Those two are best friends and they care for each other so much. Stop hurting the best besties! But Bobby really kills me. Earlier in the episode when he is begging the baby to cry is heart-wrenching because you know that he never wants to see another child die, no matter if he knows them or not. But then he sees Buck, someone who he considers a son (you know he does) get hit and fall then hang there, lifeless and injured, and he can't do anything about how he feels right then. He has to get Buck down and get him out of there. When he says, "Come here, kid. Come here..." you can FEEL the agony in his voice. It's shaking and broken. When Bobby looked up and saw Buck just hanging there you could see his heart break into a million pieces and he practically cradled Buck like that baby from earlier when they were lowering him down. Just this entire scene is so cinematic, so well done, and so so painful. It's beautiful yet terrible to watch.
At this point I’m convinced Buck is like the Castiel of 911 the writers seem to keep testing the waters of killing him off but everyone would freak so they never go all the way.
I've never looked forward to mondays until now. On another note, Eddie calling desperately for Buck may or may not have gutted me right in the feels. This show is truly awesome❤
If this isn't for Oliver Stark leaving or Buddie progress. I would like them to have someone elses heart stop for awhile. Its like Buck, Chimney and Eddie are in contest to see who's heart can stop more. Nevermind poor Cap. That guy should get frequent flyer miles to the hospital as much time as he spends there
Because of how Eddie reacted that’s one of the reasons why I love his and buck’s relationship so much buck would had reacted the same way if that was Eddie!!!!
The next episode as well should be nominated for some awards as well. Acting on Oliver and Peter's part as those 2 brought out a side of Buck and Bobby that you would never see. Bobby with the manic vibes of The scarecrow and Joker from Batman and the dark side of Buck (buck in the doctor's coat) which is a part of Buck that is hidden deep down in side of him and which also showed the world that Oliver Stark can play dark roles (dark not evil as those are 2 very different things) and you could see Oliver was really getting to his Dark Buck role. An nomination for the screenplay as well. As without the script the actors could bring the scenes together.
I love it when shows handle platonic friendships perfectly. Some shows don't really know how to handle close friendships, and they force it into romantic settings. 911 shows a plethora of relationships and how it's possible to have a true best friend that you really and truly would drop everything for. Buck and Eddie's friendship is so pure. It kind of reminds me of Meredith Grey and Christina Yang
Agreed. The people who want Buddie to happen clearly don’t understand the power of friendship love. Their relationship as it is now is way more interesting than a romantic connection.
Yeah, and it hurts the most the betrayal of a best friend (so much more than love interest's, imo) So I'm here every week, every season, expecting to never see/witness these two break up their friendship on a matter like that. I wish they be friends forever.

Buck's character: choking to the point of needing an emergency tracheostomy, victim to a bombing, having an embolism, being caught in a Tsunami (while on blood thinners), getting trapped in a fire (while not in the best of mental health states) and now being struck by lightning... Plus, let's not forget every single time that his character witnessed the near-death experiences of his breloved ones! Like Eddie who is certainly one of the people Buck cares about the most, and we know that in his books it's much worse than himself almost dying several times! So... What exactly are the writers trying to do here?!

A big part of me thinks the Buckleys are going to refuse to go to the hospital. Just say it's still too hard for them after all these years. And that will be the end of their relationship with Buck and he and Bobby and Athena will finally become the child/parent match-up we've all been expecting for so long.
I'm finally getting around to watch Season 6 (which is really good btw!!) and this scene had me bawling. I don't even know why I cried so hard, I think it was the combination of Eddie rushing up to get him, Bobby cradling him, plus him just hanging there unconscious. Ugh my soul. Poor Buck.

The voice of Doctor Mike echoing in the back of my head: CHEST COMPRESSIONS! CHEST COMPRESSIONS! CHEST COMPRESSIONS!
This part traumatized me the way Buck fell off that ladder was terrifying and him just hanging that’s is scary
Why has it taken to the 100th time watching this (yes I am that sad) to realise during the slow bit it sounds like a heart beat slowing down until Eddie shouts Buck
Beddie is real and coming alive this proves it
BUCK
Can't we just give Buck and Eddie a break!?!?!?!?! Let them be happy!!!
