gosh, I wish this thing was like half the price lol. I just ordered the RTA-31 from Thomann Music in Germany which looks like a rebadged version of the smaller BDS PP-31 analyzer for $155 shipped to the US. seemed like a good deal!
I do need a large display for monitoring and reassuring myself with mastering the final mix. I will go for that.!!! What about the VU meters, great response time. Will need a few of those too.!

Does your amplifier have an HDMI output? I was not able to setup the spectrum analyzer correctly. I have very simple setup for my stereo. 1. A/V Receiver - Marantz 6015 2. Power AMP - Emotiva 2 channel Gen3 3. A pair of front speaker. I tried from receiver's pre out to BDS131 input. Then BDS 131 output to power AMP's input. Result: analyzer does not come up at lower volume. It becomes active at higher volume constantly goes up and down even when there is no song playing. Seems like it is getting a constant input regardless music on or off. I must have done something wrong but not finding any other way. Any suggestion?
Seems both EQ and DB meter have a too slow sampling rate making them lag behind. Seems to be a common problem from this manufacturer. Looks very cool though!

The spectrum is connected to the media player, not the amplifier. The spectrum has an analog input and an analog output (also XLR, RCA). The output of the spectrum goes on to the other spectrum. The digital output of the media player goes to the digital input of the amplifier, and the analog output goes to the spectrum. The price of the amplifier is not an issue now, it sounds very good to this day.

Try turning on the bds agc function on the back. Maybe the input signal is too amplified.

It's not slow, the camera can't track it (refresh rate). In reality, there is no lag at all with the BDS-131.

The spectrum is connected to the media player, not the amplifier. The spectrum has an analog input and an analog output (also XLR, RCA). The output of the spectrum goes on to the other spectrum. The digital output of the media player goes to the digital input of the amplifier, and the analog output goes to the spectrum. The price of the amplifier is not an issue now, it sounds very good to this day.

@Avasallador101 ho notato che l audioscope 2813 è calato molto di prezzo, sicuramente è la concorrenza di questi modelli cinesi ma ben tarati ha fatto il suo effetto...
@@giambattistapisanu4656 Mi piace davvero molto questo BDS-PP131. Funziona molto velocemente. Il problema è che non ha LED RGB. Esiste già in diversi colori, ma sfortunatamente non è possibile cambiare tra loro.
Ho guardato il 2813 che hai menzionato. Visivamente non mi piace molto.
@Avasallador101 chi ha vissuto gli anni 80..preferisce il design audioscope, negli 80 anche rcf ha fatto un analizzatore l rcf sa 1....comunque anche questi sono belli e siciramente piu accessibili di prezzo parliamo di 220euro a fronte di 470..che me costa l audioscope che e fatto in italia almeno credo
@@giambattistapisanu4656 Da quando ho visto il Technics SH-GX90 nei primi anni '90, ne ho sempre desiderato uno. Nemmeno io sono mai riuscito ad acquistarne uno usato :) Era vero che si trattava di EQ, ma rimasi impressionato dalle sue rappresentazioni visive. Questo è ciò che ho visto qui, almeno la parte visiva è simile. Per me l'equalizzazione non è importante, l'ho comprato per l'aspetto. Conosci la tecnica?

CHE NERVOSO..impianti belli in masno a persone non adatte. non si alza ne si spegne con il volume alzato..non senti che rumore fa ??! Un equalizzatore bellissimo regolato malissimo.
Non è collegato all'amplificatore, è pilotato dal lettore multimediale. Non è sopraffatto, non distorce ed è molto veloce.

You have to see it live, it really boosts the mood of listening to music.
The sound the mode button makes when pressed just screams quality.....(thats sarcasm) the display is cool though.
