Before their real names were ever revealed the band members all went by the name, Donna, for their first 2 albums. Donna C. on drums, Donna F. on bass, Donna A. on vocals, and Donna R. on guitar. I saw them live a couple times, they put on great shows!
Loooove these girls! All self taught musicians, they had some great tracks worth checking out. Take it off, or too bad about your girl. More Donnas!!!❤❤❤
Some coworker friends and I attended a concert in San Diego back in '04. Most of them were there for the headlining act, Flogging Molly, but not me: I wanted to check out this band, which was the opening act and I'd heard good things about them but hadn't actually heard any songs yet, just what a friend told me ("like AC/DC, but all girls"). Boy, was I NOT disappointed. These girls brought SO much energy to the stage, it was an awesome experience. I still think their best tune is "Take It Off", with near-metal riffs.

The Donnas had songs appear in several movies and video game soundtracks in the early 2000's. My favorite Donnas songs are "I Don't Want to Know (If You Don't Want Me)" and "Take Me to the Backseat".

Saying you had more fun at Sunday school is just a way of saying the party sucks. There are always those people who showed up at a party thinking they are too cool and telling everyone how "like totally lame" they think the party is. The girls are saying they don't give a shit what they think and no one invited them anyway.

Awesome picking The DONNAS to react to! 👍 Earlier stuff to check out is Skintight and You don’t wanna call, Do you wanna hit it?, 5 O’clock in the Morning from same album and most familiar song Take it Off. Fall Behind Me from their next album Gold Medal and my favorite album Bitchin’ songs like Wasted,Better off Dancing and Love you til it hurts. Also the song Get Off from their greatest hits is a good one that you kind of get to see clips of them perform live. Their music is on a TON of movies and on video games.

This was a Great Band.. Annoyed they broke up.. My favorite was Guitarist Allison Robertson aka Donna R Drummer Torry Castalanio aka Donna C. She was awsome as well she had left the band due to severe arthritis, I kind of think her leaving was the start of the break up.

"sorority" vibes? I mean, its certainly a product of its time - but these would be the girls throwing trash (and hands) at sorority girls. The Donnas sits firmly in that early-mid 00s culmination of pop-punk, emo, and grunge.
