This clip should've made it clear how the Witcher show was going to go: most of the actors, and come to find out later most of the production staff, not only knew nothing about the universe or the community in which the universe was grounded, they had zero interest in finding out. All they knew was that it was work... that in the fullness of time they could vomit woke shit all over in a pathetic attempt to make it more interesting to THEM, to the detriment of the audience and the community. Cavill was basically one of the few that honestly and truly cared about the subject material, and it really shows how vapid and two dimensional the rest of the staff were. I only hope that GW doesn't do him as dirty with whatever 40K stuff he gets involved in.
To be honest, from what i have read. The only ones that did not care about the witcher universe was the producer and writers. Actors had nothing but praise for Cavill and what he brought to the table.
So people who care about being woke and don't care about the Witcher fandom are automatically "vapid and two-dimensional"? It's not as if they injected themselves into the production of the Witcher, they were assigned and it was just work to them, like you yourself acknowledged. And you can only speak for yourself & at most your fandom, not for the whole general audience whether the changes they made would be more interesting to the majority or not.

Henry Cavill should've been to Geralt what Johnny Depp was to Jack sparrow
I love how confident and enthusiastic Henry is about his hobbies no matter what anyone else may think. He reminds me of SImon Pegg in that respect. It's a fantastic way to be.
And then Simon went on ridiculing everyone else for it and went on living in Tom Cruises rectum. So not like Simon.
He's not just Superman, he's our Superman. What a dude.
While the title is inaccurate, the only thing on my mind is all the Warhammer fans who know just how brutal a Necrons vs. Custodes battle will be.
I guess you could say their battle will be legendary? :D
No lies in this comment. 😅

What? In table top or lore? Coz if in lore, then that will last until the last loyalist Primarch returns. Unless Trazyn does some Pokeballing again.
@@B.Scruby gotta catch em all!

The way Cavill lights up when he's asked what army he collects is such a relatable feeling.
Lmao love that he immediately hears Necrons and they immediately know what’s going on 💀

Cavill: "...and then the Men of Iron started a War against Mankind, because they got corrupted by Chaos Energy, thus ending the Golden Age of Technology and started the Age of Strife..."

Won't be much of an actor for much longer unless studios pull their heads out of their asses and let him work.
Dude... this guy singlehandedly destroyed the shame around being a geek. May the Emperor protect him.
Cavill is a pro. He was already setting up a game and remembered,
Oh, shit. I'm right in the middle of an interview.
If Henry didn’t look as he does he would be shamed for his nerdiness. He is a great actor and I hope he gets some better roles come his way!!!
He's on a show called "Geeked" and being asked about his geekery by a super old-school ubergeek. Why would he be shamed?

Oh those girls have no idea what happened there lmao, those guys could talk for hours upon hours from that point on, they get each other, it’s quite fascinating to be honest.
@@italianspiderman5012They knew what happened because they knew already that Henry likes Warhammer hence the "here we go again" they said. You men apparently are so slow at picking social cues.
@@alyctus oh you have no idea either. See I’ll try to explain, in this exact moment those guys became friends, you can bet on that, they are both into the same hobby, very specific one, it’s not like “oh you like this movie too?” It’s more like “oh you’re into this super niche, figure collecting, grim dark sci-fantasy super nerdy game too?” Now, generally speaking, most women don’t have many hobbies or rather don’t get too much into stuff compared to men, if a grown man is getting into warhammer, paints his miniatures etc. they are in. But that’s of course a massive generalisation but I find it mostly true.
@italianspiderman5012 Yeah everyone understood that. That's the whole point of the video. There's literally absolutely nothing deep or complex about this interaction. You people need to get out of the house and socialise more.
Henry Cavil, the only man that can afford to fund his Warhammer hobby
If Henry would yield "HERESY" it would have been absolutely hilarious
He did not "Discover" Necrons, he just knew the players were rare and was in shock LOL
I forgot to put friends before it, sorry my brain is an idiots 😂
“Should we?” “Yes.” Anyone who’s been a boy knows this one.
Anyone remember when Henry and Tom were on together, and the host basically made fun of the idea of people playing it, something like 'who'd want to play that?' and Tom Holland just raised his hand and said 'I'd like to'.
Wonder if that went anywhere
No woman is telling a grown man who isn’t Henry Caville that playing and painting mini figures is AWESOME. Lmao

This clip. This one. Got me into 40k. Thank you, Henry.

That was such an immediate bro moment 😂. They immediately were like we gotta play.
That reminds me of times in school growing up when your figure out some played a game you really liked. Like “instant friends, and we’re playing”.
That moment you realize a coworker is into the same hobby.
Henry tried his best best with Witcher but unfortunately they weren't staying true with the source material.
I believe he could do an amazing job with this series. Seeing him an inquisitor would be dope. As long as any studio would stay true to the source material. This would for sure be a certain success. Tons material to make something interesting with it.

Henry Cavill trying not to talk about Warhammer 40k challenge: Difficulty, Impossible.
how you can hate Cavil! man is the big bro everyone wants to have
This clip should've made it clear how the Witcher show was going to go: most of the actors, and come to find out later most of the production staff, not only knew nothing about the universe or the community in which the universe was grounded, they had zero interest in finding out.
GW is bloodthirsty when it comes to protecting their IP. Anything that violates the lore in any major way is something they won't stand for.
To be honest, from what i have read. The only ones that did not care about the witcher universe was the producer and writers. Actors had nothing but praise for Cavill and what he brought to the table.
@@kittehgo They may have liked Cavill, but by this clip and others I've seen, they didn't care about the show's authenticity to the canon.

- Marvel movies
- something related to her project
I can honestly say that hearing Cavil talk about 40k is what brought me to it, i started in January. Its something i tried as a teenager and struggled with, soon as i saw these interviews and the talk of him making a show etc it totally made me want to try again 25 years later 😂. He's seen as cute and charming because he's cute and charming. He has a lot of charisma and he's genuine and pays attention to people and he's friendly and kind.
