These guys hit so hard, I grew up in STL, my friend introduced me to them early. They should've blown up even more than they did. Best kept secret of the 90s
I remember having this album cassette tape after hearing this on the local alternative station back in the mid-late 90s. I love the way they blended rock, dance/electronic, and melodies. One of my top 10 albums. They should've had more success.
I think if they came out now they would. I truly feel they came out too soon. Because they had to compete with NiN, Stabbing Westward and the rest. They got overshadowed for sure.
Yeah but everyone kept crying about how they weren't industrial because they didn't sound like something produced by Trent. I'm sure they made plenty off this single though.
Omg!!! Bro my grandma bought us that PC game for x Mas. What a random choice for a off road racing game that would lag and freeze and then music would just stay playing, as the screen went black ha What an amazing album !!! I don't know if they pioneered this type of music or if they were generic and that's why they didn't take off But either way so dope
I couldn't find a single beat and wouldn't even begin to know where to begin to "dance" or call this anything relatable to "Music" or a "Melody". This song has neither im afraid.
One of the few bands I went to see live, When the album was new. Saw them live in nyc a few buildings down from the hells angel club. One of the best live performances ive been to.
oooo I never thought of putting on industrial 90s rock during a trip. Ive been rocking shpongle and similar lately during my journeys! I will totally try this next time! Fantastic idea! should add Stabbing Westward to this mix as well too . :)
First time hearing this song since 1997. This was one of my favorite songs back then. Even though it's been 22 years, I never forgot the lyrics or music.
Because all the bands of 90s sounded similarly and there was neither Shazam nor YT recommendations? Just compare it with NIN, Filter, Ministry, Stabbing Westward etc :)
This song makes me feel nostalgia for the 90s and visiting arcades as a kid I would always listen and hear loud music on the way to the bowling alley/arcade.
my step dad thought the high pitched squeak was his car every time the song came on in the 90's... for at least a month. lol i played the song in my room one day and he came in like hold on wait... is the squeak in the song? yeah dad. the squeak is in the song... why do you ask?
Omg! I totally forgot about this song! I loved it so much back in the day. I was at work and randomly dropped my marker and it stood up on end and I said out loud "gravity kills" then immediately omg'd! 😂😂
This whole time I thought it was NIN, no wonder I could never find this song. Thanks Google for helping me put and end to this mystery song I could never find.
I have listened to this CD for as long as its been on the self's in record store. It never gets old it just sound better the more I listen to it!!! :)THx
I'm a lovely, but the Grumps still didn't send me here. I NEVER STOPPED listening to them. Been a fan since I was a kid 😂 this album, and Perversion is still in my regular rotation.
I really hope they come out with the 2016 album. By far my favorite band for over 15 years :) The only band I can listen to all of their CDs and love each and every song. But I want new material!!
Memorable alternative rock song from my 1990s teenage music listening years, both the industrial rock music and the charismatic lyrics meld together to create an edgy song
@@creambee404 Metroid part 12. I know because I'm watching it now and needed to hear it because I could only barely remember it. Have they referenced it recently as well?
@Jennifer Brosey I was in my car, yesterday, and I’d turned right at a 3-way intersection. And this motorcyclist, who was, apparently, intending to blast right through the intersection from my left, cuts me off and starts swearing at me and giving me the finger. We had an exchange of words at the next light. He then cuts me off again, so I tailgated his pussy-excuse-for-a-motorcycle and I then pulled up beside him as we approached a sharp curve...he suddenly made an exceedingly sharp right turn, cutting through two lanes of traffic, nestling into a Costco parking garage. Clearly, he KNEW what my intention was as we were approaching the curve! Lol!! Had THIS song been playing on my car stereo yesterday, I probably would’ve just straight up bumped (or ran over!) him when I was tailgating him 😏. Possibly. #gravitykills #becarefulwhoyoukilltonight #roadrage #industrial
This was playing during my very first driving lesson and the instructor had it blasting!
Hah, that'd be me if I was a driving instructor!
🤘👍
😂 😂 😂
that's awesome. i remember it from a game i played as a kid called "test drive off road". old pc game

I also grew up in St. Louis, and Gravity Kills pretty much split ownership of the mid-90s St. Louis rock scene with The Urge.
Blue Springs bro here this album is one I can just hit play and walk away so good!
Original title 'I'm filthy' .. La Luna back in the day was the sh!t!! ;)
I love this song. It will always remind me of the wonderful times in the mid-90s that I had. Thank you, Gravity Kills.
So many of us know exactly what you mean!
this was not a 90's song. this was 2000's

Significant cross-over writing, sequencing and production talent. One of several that stood out among many at the time.
Test drive off road. Fun game, great soundtrack. I don't know if I'd ever have heard their awesome artistic talents, if not for having it

late 90's this was my favorite on the dance floor at the goth / industrial night clubs in my country it was and still is a freaking good song

The song playing during the kick-ass credits editing to the film "Seven".
No way it's in that Morgan Freeman Seven.

Trent Reznor: Yeah, just change it up a little.
