@@sheilam4964 Maybe if they back in from where they park at out on the road. That was how i did it for over 10 years, had to play chicken with logging trucks!!!
Oh my heart was just going crazy while the tractor was out in the road, not knowing if anything was coming around that corner. I have no doubt you will clear it out though.
What you were able to cut looks great. Just remember small bites will win the race. I'm sure you will not let it beat you. You have overcome many obstacles on the farm. Have been following you for a very long time. I have faith in you Robert.
What a bummer! It’s always something that goes wrong but have to say it looks really good. You work so hard at it , believe me we all recognize it. What you do for the city you’d think they’d help you out a little with the ditch. Oh well, don’t give up hopefully there be another day to conquer it again. I believe those were wild blackberries weren’t they? I remember eating so much of those as a kid I got a belly ache. Love the sign Sondra sent. ♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟🌟🐶
Morning Folks.. I Liked on the way in 👍Farm is looking Awesome 👏💐💕Love all the work done in this video.. making sure you can get clear view of traffic is wise
Georgia jungle, you say? Who better to conquer it than the Wisteria Warrior? Whatever the plants are they have met their match! Chainsaw ratings mean nothing because the Husqvarna and Stihl are the top two. The city does need to cut that all back. Some good discoveries buried in there. Just think the whole approach to the Old Byrd Farm was just like that! Banner needed more grommets - next time I am making sure of that. 👍👍❣
I love the sign and wish I would be closer to buy from you! The curve is a lot more visible now than before, and I just marvel at how it all looks now compared to when you started. Little by little.
2 months later, watching! Gumption my friend, Gumption... Like the tike, Kubouta, your Asia friend, liked to the little red Caboose, and the little Red Hen.
love the produce sign! I'm surprised you don't have more critters eating out of your garden. I gave up having one cause they got more of the stuff than I did lol
You did a great job, I know it sucks with chainsaw not working. I was worried you might hit that fire hydrant lol..I could see the water going. Hi Blue!!
Robert, we were told by the small engine store we bought our chainsaw and generator from told us to Never leave the gas in either chainsaw or generator when not in use. No matter how short a time between uses. Always drain the gas out then run them till empty. Has something to do with the gas and how it will gum up the motors if sitting.
I am 71 years old, but when I was about 13 I worked summers for the school district. I used a weedeater type tool that used a 7 1/2 inch skill saw blade instead of a string . I speak from experience one of those would make quick word of your problem.
Yes, I'm surprised, too. I'm from Missouri, and the county either cuts the ditches or when it's too dangerous they use a chemical spray to kill the vegetation. Guess every state is different.
Just watching you on the tractor in the middle of the road was scary enough. I had to keep reminding me that we wouldn't be seeing this video if anything had happened.
I liked on the way in 👍Awesome work in this video and wise work so you can safely see traffic.. overhang branches need removed.. chainsaw and contact city for sure.. loving the gardens💓🎉
Hello Mr Robert everything you do is looking awesome and Hello 👋 Mr Blue be careful by the highway,l was kind of holding my breath.Take care and be safe.from an old grandma and great Grandma from Canada 😊😊
Just clear all that growth off the fence. Trip off the lower tree limps from the trees - especiall the low ones hanging over they fence. Since that is "Right of Way" the safety and visual impairment is a safety hazard, and the State should clear. Call your County Manager or the GDOT. Have your adjoining neighbor do the same. And if you put tiles in that and in other ditches and cover with dirt, they will be level like the yard - easy maintenance. See if the County and/or State will do it, OR ... if you buy tiles, they will install and finish. Tip: Everything is so expensive these days - especially the plastic large ones; however, if there is a concrete pipe plant close or so, they usually have pipes that have pieces broken out of the bell ends they will sell for a couple of dollars each or give them to you if you will haul them away. Maybe the governments have chipped ones they need a place to use? It's worked for me.
Can’t wait to see it all finished those doggone deer eating your sunflowers I have wisteria growing on the side of our property I take and cut down to the roots because they grow from the ground up they’ve got their selves wrapped around some of our trees that is as big as my wrist there’s a lot of dead hanging from the tree because I cut it back but it sure is a pain in the neck
Robert cutting down of this bush may save lives. Up in Canada there was a bus full of hockey players. O ne of the factors of this bus they had a accident with a truck. There was a group of trees blocking the view for driver. Another factor of the accident was that the driver was distracted. The bottom line is trees and bushes should not block a drivers view.
You could cut the muscadine vines all the way down to the ground and I promise you they’ll come back. Get the area cleaned and then put up a trellis or fencing for the vines to climb on. They’re very hardy here in the south so regular maintenance is key.
We have so much kudzu here in the smokies of western nc! Bryson city/ franklin/ Cherokee… covering everything! So sad. Taking over mtns. I guess seeing in distance it reminded me of kudzu.
Do y’all to county- here they have mower machines thst come around once or twice a year. Especially if you told them about school bus and curve … health n safety issues are important and usually get things done
A few years ago neighbors bought country property to build on. They hired a guy who used a mulching machine to take down all brush and even some saplings. I didn't see the machine but apparently it had a big churning drum on the front with teeth that chomped down everything in it's path. Too bad your County doesn't have such a device to keep ditches cleared. Probably in the future somewhere down the road .. hopefully without a blind curve.
Get a battery chain saw. That’s what I did for when my gas saw won’t start. They are great for quick small projects with small trees. So you don’t have to get the big saw out.
another jungle to trim! it will be good to get that cleaned out for safety ! there is nothing worse then a blind curve! especially with speeders!hope you can get through it all!
You are doing a gareat job with this Robert!!! Looks so much better. Truly a jungle!!! lol I'm so glad you have this tractor, it is a work horse for you ... Nice to find the blackberries!!! True ... better than bob wire. You scare me being out in the road ... What about the county road department Robert? Would they clean this up? Is it part of the road right away?
To start off with you need 2 signs 1 for each side, saying SLOW MOWER AHEAD. Snacks were good but now I really think you needed a chain saw or some heavy duty Clopers. Take Care of you an the Family.
Either the city or the county needs to install 35 miles per hour signs. They should also cut all that mess instead of you having to do so. If someone got hurt, maybe it would wake them up. Good luck and be safe. God bless. 😊❤
I have the same problem on my street in Warner Robins !! People drag race and speed all the time. I am scared someones child is going to be hit. Don't know why law enforcement doesn't do much. We also have blind curves and overgrown brush which makes it hard to see what is coming. No one seems to hold property owners to trim back the bushes and trees. I call driving in Warner Robins a big game of chicken---who is gonna blink or brake first !!
Perhaps call the power company about at least clearing out around their pole and power lines, that would help some. I would talk with your County Commissioner about the growth being a safety Hazzard and maybe they could put a bee in someone's bonnet to get it cleaned up.
I know how frustrating it is! I started to cut a friend's yard, it hasn't been mowed since last year!!! Knee high... I almost got it done when my rider stopped working. I just got it back from the repair shop, 2 days ago....
Hello from Ohio I don't know what's i in them bushes from i can see it's not that steep at all if you really want to see some steep hills then I will send you pictures of the steepest hills that I used to mow they were almost straight up and down and I would mow it all the time with a 1954 cockshutt tractor and a pull behind 7 foot brush hog and I put weights on the front of the tractor and drive right to the top of the hill with it
Ditch mowing. We will have to get this finished… another day!

I can’t believe the city won’t clean this ditch for you as much as you do for your city. Keep on trucking Robert
I agree
When you live in a town with a population of about 600 people there is a limit to what the “city” can do.
The Old Farm giveth snacks.😂 Thanks for the ride along.
Looks Good!!! You know you can back into the driveway, so when you pull out, you can see a little better.
I imagine being out on the road long enough to back in is just as nerve wracking.
That bush hog was really throwing out debris. Great job of clearing. 😊❤
What you were able to cut looks great. Just remember small bites will win the race. I'm sure you will not let it beat you. You have overcome many obstacles on the farm. Have been following you for a very long time. I have faith in you Robert.
WOW! The mower threw a stick clear across the road. Good thing no car was coming.
Good viewing. Thanks Robert
Hello, and it's coming along as you got pretty far .The place is beautiful and it's all in good time .Thanks for sharing your day. Take care
The look on Blue's face was priceless 🐾
What a bummer! It’s always something that goes wrong but have to say it looks really good. You work so hard at it , believe me we all recognize it. Don't be so hard on yourself 😐 you're making great progress. Every step is a step closer !!!!!!!!👍
Morning Folks.. I Liked on the way in 👍Farm is looking Awesome 👏💐💕Love all the work done in this video.. making sure you can get clear view of traffic is wise
It looked really good today....YES....I found the Old Byrd Farm today!! I had no problem seeing to get out.
Maybe you could put up a "Slow Children Playing" sign to deter speeders. Everyone wants to protect slow children 😁😁.
Georgia jungle, you say? Who better to conquer it than the Wisteria Warrior? Whatever the plants are they have met their match! Robert, in the long-distance footage, you and the Kibota looked like Godzilla mowing down buildings. 😂
I agree!
I love the sign and wish I would be closer to buy from you! The curve is a lot more visible now than before, and I just marvel at how it all looks now compared to when you started. Little by little.
Always look forward to your videos Hello Robert 💟
Don’t back out of the driveway, turn around in the yard. Can’t wait until there’s another video on the ditch.
There are multiple reasons I’d have to back out doing work on the property. For one a big white farm truck ain’t easy to turn around…
If those were blackberries...yumm...love them...I think the Evil Wisteria has put a curse on your poor chainsaws😂
You did a great job, I know it sucks with chainsaw not working. I was worried you might hit that fire hydrant lol..I could see the water going. Hi Blue!!
Good work Robert you te best friend thans te video fantastisch 🎧🌾🌿🚜🧢👍✔️😎💯🌞🌳👣🍻
When I was clearing stuff like that, I backed into it with bush hog picked up and then went back over it. Just a thought. 🇺🇸
wow that ditch was full to overflowing. 👍👍
I bet all your neighbors and speedy school buses will appreciate what you are doing.
Robert, we were told by the small engine store we bought our chainsaw and generator from told us to Never leave the gas in either chainsaw or generator when not in use. Looking good Robert. Hello blue
Good job Robert!👍
Wow! You are doing a great job!!

That's what I was thinking about the city, keeping it clear, especially around power poles.
Yes, I'm surprised, too. I'm from Missouri, and the county either cuts the ditches or when it's too dangerous they use a chemical spray to kill the vegetation. Guess every state is different.
Bless your heart be safe 🙏
The ditch looks better already, Robert. The rest will come. Keep on keeping on
🙋♀️My grandfather made muscadine wine. He stored it in the spring house, I guess to keep it cool.
Just watching you on the tractor in the middle of the road was scary enough. I had to keep reminding me that we wouldn't be seeing this video if anything had happened.
On a positive note, the driveway is looking good'r than good. Sir Robert!
I liked on the way in 👍Awesome work in this video and wise work so you can safely see traffic.. overhang branches need removed.. chainsaw and contact city for sure.. loving the gardens💓🎉
Yup. Will get to those next.
Anyway to move Elderberry tree onto your property somewhere and off roadway save it and keep road safe too ?? Your doing a great job !!
Farm area is looking good!
Hello Mr Robert everything you do is looking awesome and Hello 👋 Mr Blue be careful by the highway,l was kind of holding my breath.Take care and be safe.from an old grandma and great Grandma from Canada 😊😊
You can do anything. Awesome
Love the banner. Maybe you can find someone with a bigger bush hog to use and you can banter for some locally grown food.
Robert, I keep hoping someone with a big dozer offers to help you out. Keep up the good hard work.
Good luck 🤞. Be safe...

Sounds like a job for the other Robert
Looks good be careful ❤
You need a skid steer with a mulcher on it! They are pretty cool!😂
Will you have to worry about the guineas & chickens more now?
Almost got me there! Flying shrapnel.
Watch out!
I think that it's looking good ! Hardly any big job can be done in a day
I'm surprised you don't have more volunteers to help get the land back.
You need a sickle-bar mower for that task Robert!
I can see blind curve but yay it looks good
Can’t wait to see it all finished those doggone deer eating your sunflowers I have wisteria growing on the side of our property I take and cut down to the roots because they grow from the ground up they’ve got their selves wrapped around some of our trees that is as big as my wrist there’s a lot of dead hanging from the tree because I cut it back but it sure is a pain in the neck
I would back around inside my yard and come out nose first. Do you have hard enough soil there?
A Farmers Day is never done. Your snacks looked yummy Robert and so healthy.
You can transplant the elderberry. We get them out of ditches and Pastures all the time here in FL. They transplant well.
Good idea to clean up as it is dangerous.
Blue is a popular name for Blue Heelers in Australia 😊
Aloha 🌺🥰
Robert cutting down of this bush may save lives. Up in Canada there was a bus full of hockey players. O ne of the factors of this bus they had a accident with a truck. I worry about Blue too. Those vehicles go too fast on that road. Unbelievable!
Good start Robert, would a sickle bar mower be the way to go?
Great job Robert! That’s a tuff ditch to clean. Need you one of them Lane Shark attachment. Thanks for sharing it. #lanesharkusa
You could cut the muscadine vines all the way down to the ground and I promise you they’ll come back. Get the area cleaned and then put up a trellis or fencing for the vines to climb on. They’re very hardy here in the south so regular maintenance is key.
Well shitkies! Been there on a smaller scale, but the feeling is the same. At least the snacks were good!!!
We have so much kudzu here in the smokies of western nc! Bryson city/ franklin/ Cherokee… covering everything! So sad. Taking over mtns.
I guess seeing in distance it reminded me of kudzu.

Meant so tell county….
I was worried about snakes dropping on you!
It did help some. What if you started at the other end may be that would work. It still looks good
Do you have enough berries that you could pick and sell?
Not really, they’re the wild type not cultivated -
Safety has to come first. Life is precious
Does the start road have a big blade you might ask them see if they will cut it down
A few years ago neighbors bought country property to build on. They hired a guy who used a mulching machine to take down all brush and even some saplings. Way to Go robert..
Does the mower not work when you are in reverse? I feel like it would be easier to cut it that way.
You are doing a gareat job with this Robert!!! Looks so much better. Truly a jungle!!! lol I'm so glad you have this tractor, it is a work horse for you ... Nice to find the blackberries!!! The county road crew should finish that up for you?👍
Just be careful, remember that big timber rattler you almost stepped on when you started the clearing of the front side yard?
How could I forget 😳
I wonder if your county/city has a skid steer with a forestry mulcher attachment? That rig would make fairly short work of your overgrown ditch.
I saw a RUclips mower with a mulcher on his small tractor. Made short work of the brush mess.
I know how frustrating it is! I started to cut a friend's yard, it hasn't been mowed since last year!!! Knee high...
I almost got it done when my rider stopped working. I just got it back from the repair shop, 2 days ago....
Put up road sign a few metres further on both sides. Slow down . Bush maintenance.
Nice try, Robert! When you get the chainsaw repaired you can finish the job. Some parts look a lot better already.
You should move that elderberry into your garden.
Next time back the tractor into the thicket, raise the deck up drop onto the tangled mess, go forward then do it all over again! K.
👍👍👍😢😢😢no chainsaw
I don't understand why you have too back out. Why don't you just pull out?
There are multiple reasons I’d have to back out doing work on the property. For one a big white farm truck ain’t easy to turn around…
Those cars go way to fast, what is the speed limit along there? Whatever it is it should be lowered !!
Speed limits don’t stop people from speeding. It’s 35 mph now….
I saw how fast the cars go😮 very dangerous.😮
Time to turn around and head out rather than back out. But you made a big dent in that job. Have a great day.
You need one of those costly things you attach to the back of your tractor that mows the ditches
You need a grapple for that tractor. I use mine for clearing out brush and vines like that, grab and pull them out then go in with the bush hog.
Yes
Hello from Ohio I don't know what's i
in them bushes from i can see it's not that steep at all if you really want to see some steep hills then I will send you pictures of the steepest hills that I used to mow they were almost straight up and down and I would mow it all the time with a 1954 cockshutt tractor and a pull behind 7 foot brush hog and I put weights on the front of the tractor and drive right to the top of the hill with it
Look's Like If The Town Or CO. Dont Want To Cut It Thay Come Out And Spray It. Maybe The State May Help Out. 😎👍✌.
Maybe back into the jungle 😊
