    I appreciate the video. Most of your points actually convinced me to stay with Substack though. Thanks!

    Just want to say I watched this one, it helped, and when I heard you were experimenting with the studio feel, I went to see your newer videos. Congratulations, this worked out very well and your new studio is really beautiful! It inspired me to improve my place. So, double thanks! (This is my personal account, not the one I use for the videos)

    Would a good Strategy be to start off building your audience on Substack and then export your list to your private Newsletter after you reach a certain number?

    I'm interested in Convertkit for a newsletter but I'm having a difficult time because as you mentioned, it isn't really built for a newsletter. (Thank you, I feel better now haha I thought I was missing something) Could you do a tutorial for beginners who want to use convertkit for a new newsletter? (or direct me to a tutorial if you know of one that you like?)

    Peter, thanks for this video. I appreciate your honest insights. This came at a perfect time as I was thinking (again) about creating a paid newsletter.👍🏽

    Hey Peter, I don't know you, but this video helped me, and I think it's beautiful that that's possible :) Thank you!

    Is it possible to export substack articles over to convertkit? Is convertkit mailerlite?

    • @PeterElbaum
      @PeterElbaum  2 года назад

      It's possible to port your subscriber list over fairly easily. I believe articles are possible too but they're in HTML, so it may take some massaging. ConvertKit and mailerlite are different companies/products AFAIK.

    but question still remain the same, what are you using for newsletter. it was not helpful you just defined two different things. How is this a question of switching one to the other.

    Yeah I disagree with you I checked out that site and it’s a pain in the ass. I’ll stay substack.

      No worries mate, I imagine your use case is likely a better fit for Substack in that case. Cheers!

    Did you ever check MailerLite? Cheaper and easier to use than Convert Kit, I think.

    • @tristen_grant

      Plus, MailerLite gives you 1,000 subs for free. Convert Kit only gives you 300.

      Just stay away from maielrlite 👎🏻

      @@Ab01-p6p Why? What happened to you with Mailer Lite?
      I consistently hear Mailer Lite is very good as an email marketing tool but sucks as a Newsletter tool.
