So the building it was held at is also attached to a Football Stadium, which is why there was a dropped ceiling on the one side. That is actually where the stands are for the stadium (the rink is almost underneath)
Fun update. Would have been cool if you had spent a few seconds beyond the medalists. I know the talent drops off noticeably so there's not much to say, but I would have called out Nicolas Nadeau's long program. The 4L was mentioned in passing but the program itself was worthy of MK moment consideration, as cheesy-fun as it was.
Did anyone else notice how the ladies all put there hands in together before their warmup? Do the US ladies do that, I've never noticed and I know we certainly never did in the ancient days when I competed.

Rod Black reminds me of Anchorman!!! He is too funny. Although I much prefer when Kurt Browning and Carol Lane do the broadcasts. Also, why did Tracy Wilson keep mentioning with certain performers that they are getting a lot of international attention?!? It's Canada! We have skaters in all disciplines that compete and gain international attention. Lol.

I don't get Dave's issue with Lubov and Dylan, other than his friendship with Kirsten Moore-Towers. I definitely thought I/M were better than M-T/Marinaro. Sure I/M have issues with the sbs jumps, but M-T/M didn't land theirs in the LP either. The thing that puzzles me most is his assertion that I/M's PCS will drop when the judges realize that she can't land jumps. So PCS is based on sbs jumps?
hahaha true. just hate Patrick's excuses... boot problems, overhead camera, the ice quality and the list goes on. he's great especially when we are talking about artistry but why does everytime he messes up, he needs to point out at something rather than own up to it. ps: I know that Patrick is straight as a rod but when you called him Queen, I just died lMAo.
Hannah Hernandez ugh YES! When he complained so much about the ice at worlds last year I was like, you are a three time world champion. You need to be better than this. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Patrick, but the excuses annoy me.
Yes, he's a three time world champ but really, that ice at Boston did look terrible by the time the 12th skater got on the ice and drawing last is always drawing the short end of the straw, so he was out of luck imo but yes, him vocalizing that doesn't look good on him.
Davin Yu true. i did see that there were puddles however i am just fed up with him always giving excuses. its not the first time that happened. in all competitions there is always a last skater and ive never heard someone who kept on whining about it. like javi who's feet got injured but still won worlds 2016, yuzuru and han during the infamous cup of china event - both were bloodied and bandaged but i dont remember hearing a peep of excuse after their performances.
Rod Black is awful. We also have to endure him through Raptor's games and the whole CFL season. He can get so excited over a twizzle his voice will crack. Skate Canada is in Regina this year, my home town. If you do go, and need any Regina tips let me know! :)
So true the commentators were so over the top like the skaters were best there, why cant people.be more spontaneous lol. Osmond was so overscored lol the Americans are much more realistic even with national.scores. Canadian judges live in a buble.
