Story:
Once upon a time, in a big, green jungle, a mighty lion ruled. He was strong and proud. One sunny afternoon, the lion stretched lazily under a shady tree, his golden fur glowing.
Nearby, a little mouse scurried around, looking for food. She accidentally bumped into the lion's giant paw. The lion woke up, growling loudly. The mouse froze, trembling with fear.
"Who dares disturb my nap?" roared the lion, catching the mouse in his paw. The tiny creature squeaked, "Please, Mr. Lion, let me go! Someday, I promise, I’ll help you!"
The lion laughed heartily. "A tiny mouse like you? Help me? That’s funny!" But his heart softened. He let her go, saying, "Run along, little one. You’re free."
The mouse scurried away, grateful. She thought to herself, "I must find a way to repay the lion’s kindness one day. No act of kindness should be forgotten!"
One day, the lion was exploring the jungle when he stepped into a hunter’s trap! A huge net fell over him. He roared loudly, struggling to escape.
The lion’s roars echoed through the jungle, reaching the mouse’s tiny ears. “That’s Mr. Lion!” she thought, rushing toward the sound as fast as her little legs could carry her.
The mouse found the lion trapped, his golden mane tangled in the net. "Don’t worry, Mr. Lion!" she squeaked. "I’ll save you!" The lion sighed, doubting her tiny strength.
The brave mouse began nibbling at the thick ropes. Her sharp teeth worked quickly. Bit by bit, the net started to loosen. The lion watched in amazement.
After what felt like forever, the mouse gnawed through the final rope. The net fell away, and the lion was free! He stretched and roared happily.
"Thank you, little one," said the lion, bowing his great head. "You have taught me an important lesson today: even the smallest creatures can do great things."
The mouse beamed with pride. "And you taught me, Mr. Lion, that kindness is never wasted. Thank you for sparing my life." The two became the best of friends.
From that day on, the lion and the mouse often walked together. The jungle animals were amazed to see such a mighty lion with such a tiny companion!
The hunters returned but were scared away by the lion’s roars and the mouse’s clever traps. The jungle became peaceful, thanks to their teamwork.
The lion and the mouse showed everyone that size doesn’t matter when it comes to courage and kindness. Their story spread across the jungle like wildfire.
