On technicality, Bret didnt get the theme with the guitar squeal at the start until 94/95, in the golden era, the Hart Foundation theme just started with the opening strum and drums, which Bret carried on with for a few years by himself. So that theme should have been used instead.
I legit thought the same as Ross, that the Hart Foundation and Bret themes are the same-but the screech chord up front is Bret only. Had to look that up. And I'm Canadian!
I got a perfect score on this one. The "Bret vs Hart Foundation" debate does go to Adam. The squeal of the guitar was when Bret was a singles wrestler and the Hart Foundation didn't. It started with the guitar strumming. I watched this video two weeks after it came out and I'm sure there are plenty of comments that told this this already. But this was fun. Thank you for the video!
I grew up with these themes, and I liked them so much I became a theme collector as a hobby. Glad to see others pointing out that version of Bret’s theme wasn’t used until 1994, but it’s not the only one with that problem. That specific Piper theme sounds similar to what he used around 1990, but it’s actually a theme he used later in WCW and then in WWE in 2003.
The thing about Bret's theme is, it didn't have the big riff at the beginning when he was in the Hart Foundation Tag Team ... but that being said... the riff didn't even come in until after the Golden Era ended. He was WWF Champion with the previous non-rif synth-jingle version, so technically it shouldn't even be on this list.
Guys, I've been following john and dante since lumberland, really cool guys. I've followed you guys since name redacted, and yea there alot of wrestling RUclipsrs, but you guys and stache club are my absolute favorite forms of entertainment. Keep up the wonderful work fellas.
That version of Bret Hart's music was debuted at SummerSlam 1994 during the new Generation Era. He used his tag team theme during 1991-94. The second version was enhanced from the tag team theme.
Love this ! I enjoy watching Stache Club but sometimes they get lost on the Golden Era quizzes. It’s cool to see some people who have knowledge on that era playing . Hope to see more !
Two things... 1. The theme used for Bret Hart was the wrong theme for the Golden Era. That theme debuted in 1994ish. 2. During the Golden Era, both the Hart Foundation as a tag team, and Bret Hart as a singles wrestler, used the same entrance theme. So, if we ignore that the wrong theme was used and pretend the actual Golden Era theme was used in the quiz, both of you should have gotten the points with your guesses for both the Hart Foundation and Bret Hart. And.... 15/15 woohoo!
Fun fact real American theme was originally written for tag team called u.s express. Hulk Hogan originally entered to survivor eye of the tiger. When they left WWF the song was given to Hulk Hogan.
I simply can’t believe you guys acknowledged my other favorite wrestling channel. When I saw the title I was like “Lmao what a Stache Club thing.” Then you guys said the name and I nearly lost it
imagine running a wrestling channel, and getting any of these wrong.... Also, using that version of Bret's theme is a bit missleading as he didn't get that theme until 94 or 95. Golden Era ended around 92.
Can honestly say I hit 15 for 15 on this one lads! It would have been the ultimate insult if either of you had gotten the best theme of all time wrong which is of course Demolition! Disappointed you never got Brutus Beefcake although it was never heard much it was a catchy one and was surprised not to hear Mr Perfects theme wasn’t one of them but that was still pretty cool for old skool memories
Loved this so much! More quizzes on the channel definitely. Also maybe an idea to do a charity quiz night between you all on a twitch stream for us all to watch!
I got 14 of 15. I guessed Nasty Boys for Brutus the Barber's theme. Amusing that it came up last, after all. While the Bret Hart theme was questionable due to it being a New Generation theme, a true fan would easily distinguish between the 1988 Hart Foundation and 1994 Bret Hart versions. So, I have no real issue denying him the point, despite my previous objection.
Definitely want to see more! Throughout the generations, you could potentially break it down into stuff like Divas, Cruiserweights etc for some extra flair.
I mean, to be pedantic, Ross is kinda correct about the Hitman theme. The song they used was Hart Attack which he began using in 1994. His Golden Era theme was Hart Beat. And after the riff they played in Hart Attack, it immediately goes into the Hart Foundation theme which actually was a Golden Era theme. So yeah, both are technically correct.
@@mfdixon1985 Yeah, that's what I mean. Obviously just speculating here but seems Ross had wrote Bret originally but (in his head) carried on the song and realised it was the Hart Foundation theme which was a Golden Era theme so figured it was a trick. I mean when Pacitti saw Ross put the HF he reacted like "Shit. I fell for it..." Think both should have got a point there.
it's amazing, the things you remember without realizing you remember them. I have not heard his theme in decades, and when I heard one second of it my initial reaction was "huh, who is that?" but then my brain immediately went "that's the Barber." I have no idea how the hell I remembered that, but there you go. And Ross, the Hart Foundation didn't have the WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOW sting at the start. It had a drum intro.
This was fun. I was playing with you both and let me tell you... I did baaad lol. I knew like almost half of them and that was it. It would be fun to see more of this.
One small technicality if you remember....Real American was originally the theme for Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham aka the U.S. Express, before it became Hogan's, who used Eye of the Tiger at that time. So that one had 2 possible answers.
This was so much fun, which shows im old 😂 Was playing along. Got everyone right apart from Brother Love. However, I do believe the Bret Hart one needs to be reconsidered considering that was a New Generation Bret theme and not Golden Era. That said, still good fun. Best wrestling channel out there !
Loved this! I tied with Adam. I confused Bushwhackers for Hillbilly Jim and Nasty Boys for Akeem. I will gladly independently adjudicate the Bret Hart one.
I watched this thinking, "I haven't watched any of those matches or heard those song since I was a little kid. I'm only going to get the obvious one: Hogan's theme." I was surprised though, I actually got 3 of them. Hogan, DiBiase, and Honky Tonk Man. I feel like I should've gotten Demolition since they were my favorite tag team as a kid.
Just to clarify on the Hart Foundation vs Bret theme thing: The tag team theme doesn't have the big guitar lick at the start. It just goes straight into the main loop.
Ayyyee shout to the stache club boys! So awesome to see their rise from the ground up and become noticed. Everybody knows us wrestling fans FUCKIN LOVE QUIZZES lol
Struggled on Brutus a bit myself thinking it was Owen at first and High Energy. This was fun! I wish this was a game show. I suck at Jeopardy but could win Big at this.
Im so proud of myself for getting the Beefcake one right. Total trip down memory lane and suprised myself knowing them all considering I havent that era or any wrestling for a long time!
This is awesome!!! Not gonna lie when y’all had both missed beefcakes song and I got it right I was a celebrated like won something lol!! Keep these going 😂😂
SHOUT OUT YOU GUYS! Appreciate the love, means a lot - there's no Stache Club Wrestling without Cultaholic 🤝
❤❤❤
@StacheClubWrestling You guys are awesome.
Nice to see the format catching on 👍
Glad SCW got the call out, because I was ready to angry comment 🤣
Are you guys also inspired by Hivemind? I've always thought of your channel is the Hivemind of wrestling RUclips
Pacitti holding up the word "Honky" like a mugshot is meme worthy.
That had me genuinely laughing out loud.
...& he didn't even realise.
The Stache Club Boys are on fire rn haha. I tip my hat to you John, Dante and Sophie
Cultaholic and Stache Club collaborating?!? You love to see it
Objection! That version of Bret's theme did not debut until 1994!
Yep
I came here to say the same thing
This is an outrage 😁
Yes. Ross wins.
That is true.
Oh, you know John and Dante are riding high right now. Congrats, boys. You made it.
Loved the shoutout to Stache Club!
Great video, would love to see more videos like this
Its cool seeing two OG cultists in a video together. Been watching yall for the longest! Ross and Adam switched hair color over the years
Love the Stache Club Wrestling channel. Would love to see more types of quizzes on here with the title on the line.
I wouldn't have been able to resist saying "US Express" for Real American. Kudos
'Wonderful man to have a pint with' - poor taste, made me laugh 😂
Ross meant "a piss", which unfortunately also becomes a pint afterward.
Lol I thought he said pipe lol which even then is bad😅
Jake "The Snake" Roberts, famously an addict in recovery, is probably not a "wonderful guy to have a pint with" 🤣
I thought he said pipe instead of pint which made me laugh even harder
@@juanmacias5510he did say “pipe”

2:23 Love seeing the dynamic between the two of you
The random shit Ross says and then Adam just cracking up at it the whole time
7:23 If we want to be pedantic, and I usually do, that particular version of Bret’s theme wasn’t used until the end of the new generation era.
Was gonna point that out too.
I was going to say that too. He debuted that theme at king of the Ring 1994
JUSTICE FOR ROSS
Yep, they shouldn't have used that version of the theme.
Sure it debuted at
Wrestlemania X?
More of this please! Lots of possibilities- Attitude Era, Ruthless Aggression Era, etc. Love these types of videos!

John tweeted saying he watched them since college
@@insufficientwhispers1582 fair enough. Makes John even cooler

The only way I knew Brutus' Theme is by playing way too much Wrestlemania Challenge on the NES. Absolute Gold Video!!!
Hell yeah Cultaholic x SCW is awesome! Love to see my favorite OG wrestletubers shouting out my newest(second) favorite wrestletube team!
Never knew Warrior's theme was called "Unstable." They were trolling him right from the jump.
I'm a sucker for this kind of content which is made even better with familiar faces! Love to see it!
I must know my 80's. I went 15 for 15 even though I'm pretty sure that Bret theme debut in 94.
15 out of 15...lots of fun to play along. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to more.

Hulk took it before they left. He used it before Wrestlemania 1 which is where the US Express first lost the tag titles.
My Maternal Grandmother's last name was DiBiase. She pronounced it DA BASE. I didn't realize how badly she was mispronouncing it until Ted came along.
I got them all except the Nasty Boys, couldn't figure that one out to save my life. But this was so fun, thanks for this awesome game.
The high guitar intro, for Bret, wasn't until The New Generation. Golden Era didn't have it
The bret theme used in hid tag team years was a lot like his later but it did sound so diffrient.
This was one of the best videos yet. Ross Bret started using that particular theme in '94. Also, how could you forget the nasty boys
I simply can’t believe you guys acknowledged my other favorite wrestling channel. When I saw the title I was like “Lmao what a Stache Club thing.” Then you guys said the name and I nearly lost it
It's really nice of you all to acknowledge felloe creators... I am regular follower of SCW since there Lumber and MBW days..
This is the content we love to see. It's like a Cultaholic version of the Hold & Give Friday Fun Club!
Bret didn't start using that version of his theme song until 1994
Yip, KOR94
But hart foundation never used it so he's still wrong.
@@joshuaa1605 Did The Hart Foundation 1997 use it?
@Rambo-lv9hu is 1997 golden Era? Cmon man.
Love the stache club shout out! You guys and them are my top two wrestling channels!
That Bret Hart theme debut was 1994 after WrestleMaina X
I'm 42, I got ALL of these right. (Also Bret Hart didn't start using his solo them until 1994 I think.)
The Bret Hart/Hart Foundation controversy was a legendary start to this potential new series
I love how much Ross makes Adam laugh. Oh fucking hell. I said Slaughter when Pipers theme played.

It's actually the US Express Theme. But then Hogan wanted it.
Yep, it's even stated on the Wrestling Album that it was for Windam & Rotunda.

The ease of guessing these shows what genius they were in developing these themes.
I totally agree with the other comments about Bret's theme. The version they play is New Gen. We need a VAR check for that.
