I have a question about your Zoom meetings. Are you doing just one 1-hour session each day? LA one day, math the next? Or how does that work? I plan to teach LA in the morning and Math in the afternoon, so I suppose I will just plan two separate Zoom sessions each day..?? Uff! All the fine details! Thanks for all the added resources!!
Hi Heidi, I do one hour session a day whole group and then I will do a 30 minute small group sessions (2 a day) for. math and reading. For our district- I need to do 2 reading small group sessions a week and 2 math small group sessions a week. So I planned Monday and friday I will do Math and Tues and Thurs I will do reading. I also have 2 sessions in the evening for those that can't meet in the day. This is a lot to wrap your brain around.
My son is only kindergarten and we choice to stay home and just do learning at home with no zoom as he struggled realy bad last year this be awesome help thanks

Khursheed Kareem For my class it has been about the relationships. Trying to get them to laugh and have joy letting them share when I can. I work on this in small groups and in the whole group zoom sessions. We still follow the rules so that there is order.But I will note the things that my students like and I try to tie that into a lesson in someway or a call on them about maybe how nice they look today or how smart they are or how they might be feeling. I sent the same message three weeks ago and I also mentioned a mistake in the alphabet song (were through instead of we' re through), but I haven't had a reply yet, nor have the mistakes been corrected. I guess only praises get an answer.
This is a great video, but there are two spelling mistakes. "Act like your at school" should be "Act like you're at school" or "Act like you are at school". The other mistake is at the end of the alphabet song. "Were through" should be "We are through" or "We're through." I don't want to seem picky, but we are talking to Kindergarteners here; they don't need to learn erroneous spelling.

I sent the same message three weeks ago and I also mentioned a mistake in the alphabet song (were through instead of we' re through), but I haven't had a reply yet, nor have the mistakes been corrected. I guess only praises get an answer.

So many children have died from CV-19, good were doing this.
This is a great video, but there are two spelling mistakes. "Act like your at school" should be "Act like you're at school" or "Act like you are at school". The other mistake is at the end of the alphabet song. "Were through" should be "We are through" or "We're through." I don't want to seem picky, but we are talking to Kindergarteners here; they don't need to learn erroneous spelling.
