I’m burning The last paradise wax melt in my electric burner now and I really like it. I like them all but Iv not yet tried coconut rice cream yet but it looks interesting.
You are so right. During these horrible times, we need escape and the ability to be able to drift off. I say get comfort where you can. Beach Escape is calling to me based on the name, the label, the wax colour and your description. This looks to be a great collection and I think these will sell well. Thanks for the review.
Great review! Here in the US, our Yankee website has little product overlap for the Last Paradise Collection. It's fun to hear about UK exclusive candles and to hope they eventually reach our shores. 😊

Fantastic review - glad to hear Beach Escape is similar vein to Turquoise Sky as it is one of my favs!
Yankee CH sent me all 8 votive samples so I got to try all 8 of them (spring and summer). I agree with you about the labels, very pretty. About the scents, I’ll start with the ones I really didn’t like: Lost Paradise, way too strong for me, doesn’t smell bad per say but too strong when burning (less when cold). Beach Escape, smells too much like my most hated candle (Turquoise Glass, or Garden by the sea). I don’t know what it is exactly (maybe that melon like smell but I’m not sure). I just can’t, makes me feel nauseous. 🤢
I totally adored Coconut Rice Cream, when burnt it’s smells so sweet and soft, and Bora Bora Shores (which BTW on the label doesn’t show a Bora Bora shore at all but a beach called Anse Source d’Argent on La Digue island in the Seychelles) that one smells quite similar to Black Coconut which I love, so it was a yes for me. So out of those 4 I will buy only those last 2 in big jars. And for the other 4 I will comment when you post your review 😊
Those are pretty labels. I never cared for the 2 in labels they cut corners with. Such a sad but wonderful review. Better times ahead if we hang in there and be safe, I love floral fragrances, however, I have never tried many of them. Your descriptions and your facial expressions help to want to try them. I do love powder type smells. It brings back a simpler time in my life. Coconut scents scare me, but your description makes me want to try this CRC candle. Beautiful review Andy. If you try any then try Bora Bora shores sweet fruity musky so nice so sweet. Beach escape is also gorgeous a clever fragrance that smells just like the label.
You always do such a great job when reviewing the candles! Very detailled enabling me to have an idea how they smell - just as if I would do a sniff myself👍I only know the Coconut Rice Cream that really surprised me positively. I don't get the foody notes. In my opinion it is phantastic spa scent with slight green notes in it. Unfortunately, despite being 10 years a YC lover, I do not know the Sandalwood Vanilla. Has it the strong antique perfumy Sandalwood scent like Sandalwood that retired years ago?

I love beach escape and will be buying back ups it’s gorgeous and has a great throw. I also love Bora Bora shores so sweet fruity and musky. The only one I didn’t purchase was the coconut rice cream I had a cold sniff in the shop and this isn’t for me, I like my coconut sweet and creamy or fresh but not savoury. I’m sure a lot of people will enjoy it though. Great review thanks.
I must admit Coconut Rice Cream has grown on me. It was lovely burning - kind of perfumey and creamy with a soft baking undertone.
