Although you made this video a few years ago, its still helping people today. I thank you very much Sir. You made my life easier after 2 days of struggling. Thank you.
Amazing video! For those that are using MSSQL you may find a problem in the Bulk Data Transfer (15:52) with varchar columns whose sizes are set to MAX in MSSQL. The key to solve this is to first go back to Create Target Results (15:43), select the tables that triggered the error and you will see the CREATE script at the right: the varchar column's size is set to ZERO; change it to the desired size and click "Apply". Then, go back to Target Creation Options (15:27) and is just like the rest of the video afterwards.
With love and respect from Turkey... I am happy that thanks to you they have solved the problem that I have been dealing with for months in your issue and from which I could not get results from almost any source. Thank you very much for the nice explanation and the details.
hi thanks for the explanations, please can i have the link about the second part of the video that you are promissing to us at the end of the tutorial ( take MS SERVER as destination and MYSQL as source using SSIS) thanks in advance
Thank for video, I am getting error saying too long text when migrating data, because migration wizard replaces the nvarchar(max) from source table to varchar(0) to destination table. So what to do in that case? Instead wizard must replace nvarchar (max) to longtext
Kindson The Tech Pro, your tutorial is excellent , and not only that I enjoyed watching it but I also learning from it. You are an excellent tutor and I like the way you explained things. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Hey mate, thanks for the video, that really helped. I was even thinking if it was possible as I could not find any resource or guidance online regarding this.
During Source Selection, I input my username and password credentials, but by the time I get to Schemas Selection, all tables are empty. When I leave sa as the username in Source Selection, I am asked for a password, but I don't know what password to put. Anyone have any idea what I need to do here to be able to see the tables during Schemas Selection?
the video is certainly old but I want to say something because I proceeded in this way but my database had tables with constraints and indexes unfortunately it did not succeed in my migration
This can be done but would require much work if there are many of such objects(Funcs, Procs and Views). This is because the T_SQL syntax for MySQL is not the same with MS SQL. But I'll check if there's a tool out there that can be used. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

migrated table/data from SSMS to Mysql. most of them migrated, but some tables has issue cuz of "primary key". SQL server can provide no primary key?
Tables with primary keys should normally migrate as well as ones without primary keys.
