To me, the acid test is whether the horse's nose is just in front of the vertical. If that is not there, then these rides are uncomfortable to watch. I am always reminded of Reiner Klimke's rides on Ahlerich.
First time in my experience seeing an Isabell Werth horse without a severely purple tongue! Although there's many other things like very hard hands and spurring that need to be lightened, I'm seeing some slight improvement. Horse also wasn't ridden BTV the WHOLE test, so definitely some slight improvement from what I've seen recently.
I love Charlotte D horses . They always have super rounded backs behind the saddle . Like a hoop . This horse looks classic I Werth . On the forehand in canter etc . She is a very clever rider and I don’t doubt her skill but ……….
@@reasondora2712 totally agree, most of IB's horses have a lateral collected walk as well, it's the contact: fixed hands vs forward following hands... fixed hands ride the horse through it's chest, forward following hands ride the horse up into a lifted wither and poll. CD rides with forward following hands...(the Brits seem to have French tendencies in their riding), it shows in every horse CD makes, they are all exceptional!
I agree. Shocked to see this combination in first place, especially after seeing several much more harmonious combinations, with higher quality exercises.

Fully agree . Don’t forget that there are videos of Ahlerherich doing a very unsettled piaffe . Horses and riders are not perfect .

beautiful, some of the combinations used a bit of abuse however.
Where are the horses head supposed to be held? Some are so tight to their chin. They are all so beautiful
