EXCELLENT video !!! I saw this on another site and after watch still had not idea what I was doing BUT by watching you, mine came out SUPER. I made mine in the white and just love it. Thanks for the great help.
I really like the look of that fabric mesh. I've never used it before. (I see another loser troll rated this a thumbs down. I can't understand that!) Trendy Tree has the best wreath tutorials anywhere!
Love the fabric mesh....but the red kits sold out in less than 24 hours and we can't get more red metallic fabric mesh until after next market(((. I've decided it must be the same person giving the thumbs down each time because it happens so quickly each time.....we don't expect to please everybody all the time and that's okay. If we all liked the same thing.....gosh we would be boring)))
Me encanto! Yo sigo sus tutoriales porque es la mejor para explicar y todo lo hace hermoso y siempre perfecto, la admiro por su gran creatividad, le envío saludos señora bonita! 😊💞👏🏻😊
I just love you both !!! Your so entertaining and each tutorial is easy to follow. I look forward to each new tutorial. Here's a picture of my try at the poinsettia wreath. Thank you so much , have a beautiful Christmas and a happy blessed New Year. From the mountains of West Virginia:)
For me, the wood burner works best on Deco Poly Burlap which is all Polypropylene. Fabric mesh as a polyester or jute thread in it, and I find that just cutting with a rotary cutter works best. Now, there may be other wood burners out there that work better than mine too)))) Just experiment))
Are you talking about an 18" wreath form with no ties? Our 24" wreath forms actually measure 15" across the widest metal ring. So that would be a bit larger, you might want to order extra supplies rather than take the chance of not having enough.
All mesh ravels, but the fewer cuts you can make in it will help and handle as little as possible. Clip strings rather than pull. Some people use a heat cutting knife of poly burlap and this does help too.
I watched your video from 2016 and noticed a lot of unraveling. In this one, that seems to not be a problem. Would you please tell us which mesh is the best for not unraveling? Thanks so much.
It's hard to say which product ravels the least because it all ravels, plus the more cuts you have the more raveling. On the paper mesh and the poly burlap, I think the raveling shows more because the mesh fibers are larger than plain Deco poly mesh. Also on the paper, we have experimented with Elmer's Craft Bond Spray Adhesive and this does help the raveling on paper mesh. It's sticky to work with and will cause some raveling while you're working with it, but after it dries, there was less raveling. We have a blog post on that experiment: www.trendytree.com/blog/can-stop-paper-mesh-raveling-maybe/
This is a video that we did back in 2017. We have a newer one that we did a few weeks ago and still have supplies for it. The kit is $31.50. Thanks Carol, appreciate your watching))
BEAUTIFUL
THank you for watching, we appreciate it))
Jeannie do you think there is any way to do this with 21 inch mesh? I have lots of red in that width. this is so beautiful.
We usually use 10" for this method. It's best not to cut 21" since the more cuts you have, the more raveling....but I'll think on it a bit)))
Gorgeous💞
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Beautiful! Tyfs. ♥️
Thank you! Sorry I missed your comment years ago!
to prevent that..I cut the deco mesh with a wood cutter and it helps a lot
Thanks for watching. I have a would burner but have just used it on poly burlap. I'll have to try it on fabric mesh))
Can you use a 18 inch wreath
Are you talking about an 18" wreath form with no ties? Our 24" wreath forms actually measure 15" across the widest metal ring. So that would be a bit larger, you might want to order extra supplies rather than take the chance of not having enough.
Love your wreath. Where do you buy the tinsel balls?
We're out of some styles. Here's what we have right now: www.trendytree.com/craft-supplies/ball-ties-stemballs-1.html
Hi can you tell me how to stop the mesh from fraying once cut. Thank you
