- Detroit certified auto appraiser Jason Phillips takes a fast ride in this Dodge Coronet Superbee. Fender tag indicates an original N96 functional Air Grabber Carb Fresh intake, original rebuilt numbers matching factory 4 speed, and upgraded 440 built engine. Neither tubbed or hit, the underbody is all stock, solid and original. Frame is in good shape, no cuts, damage or abnormal wear. Older Silver repaint with black bumble stripe looks nice, a few bubbles down low. Solid trunk, this original interior shows some wear. Over $15k spent on the drivetrain rebuild in the past years. Great running car.

1969 was the BEST year for the Charger, Roadrunner and Superbee!
‘68 for Charger& super bee, ‘71 for RR-GTX😊
1:20 I thought those tags were riveted, not phillips head screws...
For some reason I like stock steel wheels like the ones in the rear. I would just paint the wheels with body color and find a correct period cap
Needs some old school Craigers 12 on the back and 6 on the front. 😎
Yeah or some 10 inch on the rear.
Gee whiz! Lotsa potential there! Sheetmetal is straight...most expensive part of the car is solid.
I remember those old square little yellow reverse light under the dash
Phillip's head screws in the I.D. Tag? Those are riveted into the engine bay
ALWAYS RIVETED
Rockin ride!:)
That code plate has phillip head screws holding it to the body. All of them are originally Riveted at the factory to the body so how can you prove its original, or not?? It dont matter I'm sure someone already bought the car.
Incorrect- All Fender tags are attached with Philips head screws, on ALL Mopars. Only the VIN tag is riveted. Thanks- Jason the appraiser
That's just gorgeous...
Thanks for sharing. Do you also find cars for prospective buyers?
All tags on cars come rivit😂not screws
Where is the proof it was green, unless someone took it apart and reassembled after painting?
If it was mine I'd paint it back to original color
Muy buen auto, pura lamina
انها سياره قويه وجميله
Just to be picky, the engine is not the correct color.
NS genius
Nice survivor
Total Yum.
$29,000 ???? 😂😂😂😂😂
That is one sweet look'n Bee🐝 I think steel wheels all around with Baby Moons would make her look sweeter!😎
Dirty rundown with rust, not that nice for 30k. Look at gateway or southern motors, you can get flawless show quality coronet rt super bees for 30 40 k
Those are both great places to buy Muscle cars! Thanks, Jason the car appraiser
@@AutoAppraise I have the grocery getter version of this car. 69 coronet 440 60000 miles no rust older repaint same bubbles on rockers. It drives/runs fine but could use a trans rebuild( i can do) as it creeps forward in neutral at times. We have a race engine rebuilder in the family. I'm thinking about having him turn the original 383 non HP into a 383 HP+ and find a 4 speed for it. Not sure of 4 speed pricing but it was$1800 to do that to a 440 including porting/rebuilding heads. Would that be a mistake or should i just
rebuild/reinstall the automatic and keep it original? I value your opinion, thank you
Nice car, don't really care for the rims though, or the black painted side scoop, should be same color as the car
I’m disappointed the owner didn’t repaint the whole car the same color it came from the factory (on the fender tag); it would be easier to overlook it not having the original engine. The Coronet or Roadrunner I buy will be original (and retain some collector value).
I had one in green. Only problem was no air conditioning in Palm Springs. Burned my hands on the steering wheel with the ring that came stock. Loved that car.
any interior shots? how's the steering (wheel looks cocked while going straight).
Nice Mopar.
Well I’m sure ya sold it beautiful car
That '69 Super Bee with a 440 4-speed was A STEAL at $29,000.
Had a 1970 coronet superbee. Orignal 383... Put in a 30over 440... Miss that 🐝...
Nice car mate. One of my favourite's.....😆👍
it is amazing how much cars are worth today in remember getting a 68 rt 440 six pack no rust good factory paint the car was sweet just needed the new headers put one that the guy got for it he sold it to me for 500 bucks back in 83
The bubbling on the rockers, and the one spot filled with bondo are a concern--especially at the 30k asking price. A full repaint is required as well as removal of bondo, andmetal patch added. All the decals on the back end will need to be reapplied after the bodywork and paint is done. While the new engine is technically an upgrade, a rebuild on the old powerplant to keep it all numbers matching would have been a better option.
With the original drum brakes all around and manual steering still in place, you add the body issues and this car as it is is more suited for a "resto-mod" rebuild. As it sit, factoring in 10-15k for body and paint, and decals, I think 30k is a bit on the high side for this car.
Mopar has aways done it right except for a couple shes a beautiful car
Needs some work and it could be spectacular .
Rust on driver side bottom 😂he tried to hide it
GOOD LOOK'N BEE!!!!! SHE'S STARTING TO GET CANCER/SURFACE RUST,SHE NEEDS SOME SERIOUS LOVE!!!!! MAKE A NICE PROJECT CAR IF THE PRICE WAS RIGHT!!!!! YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY WHEN YOU RESTORE ONE OF THESE BEAUTY'S,WE ALREADY KNOW THAT IT'S NOT A # MATCHING CAR!!!!!
29k for a car that will need 20-25k in body work and paint. Ya I don't think so.
Hard to find 4 speed N96 cars- good luck in your hunt! Thanks, Jason the appraiser
Beautiful car!
I am surprised that this nice "muscle car" has drum brakes up front. I thought that all cars of this kind and year had disc front brakes.
My second car was a 68 coronet sedan, I woulda been soo stoked with a 4 speed! Miss that car 😥
can’t wait to get my dads superbee back to this condition
Good deal .not. num matching is why but badass.
Bought one for $200 in 1980 red white stripe black interior.Rust free #s matching 383 auto with ram air hood. Last time I drove it I stole it back from the impound and hid it till 95
No need for a stereo with all that sweet V8 music!
i'm guessing it sold
Nice car still aint worth but 30k.
Запихайте движок от газ 66 в волу и будет вам додж
What are the rim and tire dimensions? Thanks
Green car green interior
Beautiful
Wow!!!!
4 speed Mopar is true muscle, but I thought all big block 4 speeds came with Dana rears. This car is well worth the money.
34k for this shitbox? You're insane.
I'll give $ 9000
It's cool for like $10.000 not a penny more
At 10k, I'd line up to buy the next 10 1969 Superbees in a row! Good Luck- Jason the appraiser
Well mr. Snuff I'm going to clue you in on something that everybody else knows already you're an idiot
Fake fake fake
109,000 miles HOLY FUCK for $30k FUCK NO
