    Agreed about the GSX-S1000 looks wise. I bought the 2022 model, however I would never get the old one. Amazing bike, and I've gotta say - 152PS is way more than enough, even in an inline 4. The bike is an absolute rocket. Wouldn't recommend more horsepower unless taking the bike to the track.

    • @leoglasmeyer2853
      @leoglasmeyer2853 Год назад +6

      normally, around 100 hp and good torque is more than enough on the street unless you want to constantly do crazy pulls all the time and dodge cars all the time like some do. More than that is completely respectable, but imo it will be very hard to "juice out all of the bike" without getting on track. Even 120hp 600cc's are too much unless you encounter big empty highways.

    The ZH2 is the most ferocious bike I've ever owned.I've often wondered if the air being forced in to the supercharger bumps the power way,way up above what the figures say when the bike is static on a dyno (170bhp ish) That would also explain why it flaps it's bars so wildly under full acceleration on the road. It's 240KG when all said and done. The thing was insane.

But with the recent updates of many manufacturers (as you said Yamaha, suzuki, etc.) Honda is slowly getting better compared to the design downgrades of the other Brands. Choosing the ZH2 is a no brainer, for 18k with a tune, will blow away the competition

    • @Fearless154
      @Fearless154 Год назад +1

      It depends on what you want. I used to have a 2021 zh2 and I wasn't a big fun of the bike. The engine is superb and 10/10 in terms of fan and raw power. But the overall package is not very good and you get what you paid for. The bike is very wobbly because of the budget suspension and lack of a steering damper.
      The wheelbase is way too short for this engine, and it will power the wheel up to 3rd and even 4th with a 215 rwhp tune, which makes the HP not very useful.
      It's not a sharp-handling bike. If you take it to the track and you have some skill, this bike falls apart with its very low ground clearance and wobbly and unstable nature.
      Furthermore, due to the engine's cast pistons, it cannot reliably produce 230-250rwhp like a standard h2, and 220rwhp is the maximum you can have without compromising reliability.
      The Ecu flashed Streetfighter v4 with 196-200rwhp is going faster because of the weight difference and less wind drag.

      @@CrusaderGeneral
      Yes, but it doesn't solve the problems; it just makes them less prominent.
      20k MSRP is in the same territory as the SFV4 base model, which is still leagues beyond it in terms of sharp handling, ride quality, and perforamce in my opinion.
      If you want it for its stupidity, sure you will have fun, but if you actually seek pure performance, it's not a motorcycle for that purpose.

    Hey you guys, I have a 2021 Honda CB650 R and honestly it's probably the fastest middleweight compared to the Triumph Street Triple RS which has 130 HP compared to the CB650 95 HP the Top speed on the CB is 242 on the display and the triumph is also 242 on the display if you compare it to an MT-07 it has a top speed of 212 Km/h. So, I see myself with a 650 cc bike that can reach 242 Km/h that to me is insane why would I want more than that? So I can make sure I die? I've been riding since 1992, I had a really, really bad accident in 1994, I survived and recovered 100% so why? Isn't a bike that can reach 230 or 240 enough?

    naaah, all too slow for me !
    Okay, not really.
    I'd argue for road going nakeds, well flat torque curves, with beefy bottom end torque is more important than ultimate top end power and speed.
    No fairings mean, get them on track , and have "your head blown clean off" (Clint Eastwood accent) on a long straight !
    I get the plus 200 bhp full on sports bikes, with power delivered high up the rev range, and high top end speeds for the track day boys and girls.
    I just don't get the hugely powerful nakeds. I did have the 1050 Speed Triple RS, that was pretty good on the low end grunt. It shit the life out of me at the top end, and it is not even that quick compared to most here.
    I found I didn't use a fraction of it's power, and the missues wouldn't get on the post stamp pillion seat, so no surprise there ! It did sound nice though ...
    I do get the KTM Superduke 1290. All that low end torque. I had a ride on one of them. It was awesome, even though if I wasn't keen on the looks.
    Maybe I should go and stick with my slow 96 BHP Speed Twin, or just go and the whole hog get a 350cc RE Hunter, plus pipe and slippers, when it's released !

      @@Rayk76 sorry, but I just don't understand why you would post 220 under the vidoe, if it clearly says 210 and there are no sources that say 220. What made you comment that?

    As a CB1000R Black owner I have to say that these are in no way slow (being last on the list). Bear in mind it weighs less than an Interceptor 650 but with almost 145 bhp and lots of low and midrange torque. Wind it on in 2nd or 3rd and it goes like absolute stink. By then you are already well into jail time in a matter of seconds. So back off. Seriously. Just saying….
