I'm looking forward to a video where you can tell some common problems during gun building and how to fix that. For example, I have an M249 that shoots very fast but the bullets just fly like 5 meters. If I shorten the barrel - or - replace the motor with a slower one, then it shoots fine.
@@galapagosj3021 Thanks. Such videos will be a great help for newbies. As for my M249, I used a 45cm barrel, a set of 18:1 gears, and a ChiHai blue 460 motor. I read somewhere that if the gun fires too fast, the piston is pulled back before the gel ball leaves the barrel, which creates a suction force that nullified the gel ball momentum. Either shorten the barrel so the piston gets pulled back after the gel ball has left the barrel, or makes the gun fire slower will solve the problem. I did exactly that and it's OK now.
Hey J, awesome video. Quick question, can you maybe maybe make a video showing where you have wired in the mag terminals on the Aster and even the Titan. Coz i wanna just confirm i have used the right points on an Aster i installed for a mate a little while back. I assume my pickup points are ok seeing as its still operating correctly to this day lol, but yeah wouldnt mind confirming it.
This is great, your videos seem to be released just when I have questions about something specific! At the moment I going to try wiring a mosfet, (MERS 3.2) to my blaster. The instructions are for airsoft so there's no mention of where I should solder the magazine leads to... I was wondering - Do you solder the magazine contacts to the same contacts on the circuit board for the trigger?
The MERF 3.2 adds to the existing circuit and you don't need to solder magazine terminals to it. In fact, there should be a cable you need to solder to the trigger unit.
Inline MOSFETS are added into an existing circuit and is outside of the gearbox where as the trigger unit ones directly replaces the trigger unit and sometimes all the cabling as well. Trigger unit MOSFET can also be more advanced in terms of functions and features and also saves a bit of real estate outside the gearbox. Inlines tend to be much simpler and don't have proper cycle detection.
Out of topic question: Is there any difference in between HK416 V1, V2, and V3 magazines? And could you make a video about how to increase the FPS of a WGG. I hope this question gets answered, Thank you!
What is WGG? As for the magazines, I didn't know people were selling the older versions still, or it could be an export only option, I'm not too sure. There are quite a few gel blaster brands that only create products for export. But if it is what I think it is, the WARINTEREST magazines went through several iterations and they are just better quality material, simpler disassembly design and such. I'm not sure if that's the same V1, V2, V3 you are referring to. Currently, there are 3 main types of magazines you can have, the latest iteration of the standard magazine, a light up magazine for glow in the dark gel balls and a high speed mag (not by warinterest)
@@josafatglenn4482 If you are just looking to increase FPS, then just put in a bigger spring. The HK416D comes with a 1.1, which is around M70-M75, you can push it up to M90 without having to change out the gears or the motor. But it will probably wear out a lot faster, and soon too.
Once again the master has spoken. Thank GJ for explaining the functions and benefit of installing a MOSFET. Keep the knowledge coming bro
Thanks for the Information '
...thanks for that explanation about the MOSFET, now I got to look for ‘em
Just updated the video descriptions, the links are there now.
You da Bomb Bruh ✊🏾☮️🍺
I’ve got the t238 v1.4 really good for the price 😁
ah yes more epic content from gel ball father
Tq you for your explanation on mosfet bro. Its really helpful
whats difference with mosfets that are direct replacements of the trigger assembly and ones that get spliced in such as between the motor and battery?

Yes that's a good idea. As for your blaster, can you tell me more about its setup, like whether you changed the gears, springs etc.? You can email me.

Hi Chris, check out my LVOA-C video, it shows the Titan MOSFET and point out the wiring for it.

do you know the real world differences between the trigger unit mosfet and an in line mosfet?
