Story of Zeze, our rescued

- You all wanted to have so much updates on Zeze, the video about one of the many rescues we have done and been doing in Angola.
We rescued Zeze a while back, alongside Zizi and Kuxie, all living in bird cages in a house. Our team has done confiscation and rescue with emergency care. Then we have driven to our base camp. After 2 days Zeze and Zizi started trusting us and they slowly got their strength back.
Zeze had a deep wound in his eyes, due to a machete poachers used to hunt him and killing the mother, as well as bullet lodged in his testicles.
Our base camp doesn’t have ER room and he needed ultra care. We have driven from Angola, crossed the border and brought him for intensive care to a congo, to our mission base partners JGI, who has surely more means than our all volunteer based NGO.
We rescued many babies up to date and we would be glad to update you with many short clips of what we have done over the past years, of course, if you want it.
In this video, Asli (founder of Wild at life) is rescuing 5 primates on the same day, from various horrid places in remote Angolan locations.
Mission Caita will continue working towards illegal wildlife trade and poaching of chimpanzees.

I can't fathom going on with your every day life meanwhile you have 2 baby chimps - one of which is severely wounded - living in bird cages in your house. I have no words. None. To the rescuers however I do have gratitude. May God bless all your efforts to continue rescuing and rehabilitating these babies in need.

It seriously broke my heart when he was clinging to his cage because he was so scared he was going to be killed. Break my heart.
He has definitely been abused and seen horrific things.
Slowly but surely, the way his friend and him cling to each other, its wonderful he has this friend. ♥️🤲. The way he sits and eats the way he lowers his head and the way he rises his head, every movement tells me he’s been through horrors beyond most normal imagination. His little body is ravaged. His heart broken , his spirit weakened. But he has you and some friends now. I hope he survives any psychological damage done to him, which may manifest in him later.

Poor little one with one eye. Looks like he could almost fall thru the bottom bars in that crazy cage. How did they sleep in that thing? Amazing.

На цепь их надо раздельно и быть с ними очень строго не жалеть, ругать, наказывать. На цепи держать. Недавать бвловатся и хулиганить. Оно должно понимать что надо получать разрешение у человека что бы начать бегать и прыгать.
Абсолютно с тобой согласен, на все сто процентов!!! Эти твари должны знать, что они вещь или чья-то собственность (как угодно)!!! Они живут с разрешения человека, который их приютил и вылечил!!! А если учитывать на сколько опасны эти обезьяны когда они вырастают!!!
