Where I live a Police forensics team spent all day examining a half eaten deer. There’s something out there!

It’s normal, escaped pets like jaguars, pumas, lynxes breed so there are a lot in the wild

Lets not make too much of it..... there is probably a whole colony of Pumas in the area . I saw one crossing the road six feet in front of me back in 2008. I doubt this is the same one.

What a crock. I grew up in that village and surrounding area. If I saw a big cat carrying a lamb I'd not have thought about it being natural. Besides, there is a deer farm, donkey sanctuary and a chicken farm within a mile radius plus a lot of dairy, beef and sheep farms. I think we'd know by now if there was a big cat in the area.

4 1/2 inch span isn't wide enough. More the size of a bob cat at best. He said sincerely traumatized. Not severely. I saw 1 black cat before a graveyard, on the way to Crawley. It wasn't a cat, and it wast a panther, just a mysterious large wild cat. I have seen tall creatures around 2am in the mist. And I've seen a large black fox/other that was at the top of the road, slunk into the bushes. I was also stalked while I was meditating, and got up and hurried out at dawn. So the closest thing I've seen was my late night walk, it sat more like a canine tbh. Ears. And it was pitch black, I have excellent night vision, it was right next to me in bushes, couldn't see a thing. Also, once saw some wild thing dart across the park at dusk. It was golden, and not a fox. Curly mailed skinny. Very strange. Not a dog. And not wanting to be seen.

With all due respect, I do not believe this individual's story one bit. It just seems too scripted and too well thought of...
I must also back up his claims though, there are wild cats in the areas of the United Kingdom and have been for years. Even the MoA authorised the deployment of Royal Marine snipers to carry out an operation to search for and kill these big cats for which sightings were reported by the snipers themselves.
I also remember a team of snipers being deployed where I live in another county other than Exmoor. Although no further reports came out from up here nor were the presence of Royal Marines even reported on (probably because it is also in and around an area where they train on the odd occasion).
