    I’m going to try this product I heard great things I think it is basically expensive backing soda. I have a hard time taking in calories while on long runs. I realized during my first ultra that I needed to actually train my stomach to take in calories. Lot of trial and error

    Hi, so what is the taste like? Is it just like a single serving Maurtens gel? At first, I liked the ready to go gel but then the taste started to get to me. I'm looking for something with less taste.

      I find it a little milder than the gel. What’s also nice is that it is the ‘cheapest’ Maurten product per 100g of carbo. Cheaper being a relative term of course. I do find all of their products work quite well. Just wish they were a little less expensive.

    I've a 100km ultra in one month. What maurten products would be best for a 100k?? Would it be this product?? I've no cutoff time so I'll be moving slow, but I need something strong to keep me going.

      @@na-dk9vm I’d use the 320mix but would have other real food. Make sure you get enough sodium. Whatever you use, try it in training and be prepared to throw it all out on race day if it’s not working. All the best!

    i have been running empty stomach for 1 hr runs, is that okay, i tried bix hydartion electryloye for the first time and started getting bloating etc after a week and had to stop that

      Ajay. Never go empty stomach for any run. If its just an hour run with medium intensity then have 2 or 3 dates before you go out. If you feel hungry during long rund of more than an hour then carry some more dates or even peanut chikki.

      @@RunnerDude1234 Ajax. Listen to Ashis! Never run on empty. Gradually introduce fluid and calories.
