Thank you for the video. It has restored my sanity. For some reason, more and more educated native speakers don’t follow Rule #2. They always use I instead of me as the object pronoun. I think this tendency is a sort of overcompensation for using “me” in the subject. Interestingly, they do it only for “I/me”, not other pronouns. And you are right it’s easy to check by separating two object pronouns, e.g., “please give it to David and I.” They would never say :”give it to I”.
Hi Alex, I must thank you for this video. You have cleared a confusing topic that I sometimes face. By the way, I did not understand which accent you use, is it British or any other. Thanks a lot.
In Spanish we say "the donkey goes ahead" or "the donkey goes first" when the interlocutor mentions himself before the companion. This is because it is considered rude to mention oneself first.
The German FM said in a speech at the UN: Us against them. Unfortunately, she repeated it several times and it sounded false to me. Thank you for confirming. Okay, she might have learnt from Pink Floyd. 😂
If you wanna be specific, I mean if you want to point out the people who were seen together, you just gotta say; -"They saw YOU, HER and ME together". BUT if the people who are being pointed out are already known, you just say; - "They saw US together.
Hello! Sorry, but you said "movies" right? Isn't that American English? Shouldn't be "films" im British English? I thought all the English were in BE 😔
There's one conclusion that I made after years of learning English. I don't want to be rude or something, but English is a piece of s--t. It is a nightmare grammar-wise. Reading and spelling are the things that have to be learnt for years. Do I have to mention pronunciation and accents? I wonder how on earth it became so popular.

That makes perfect sense to me. In English, it also just sounds better to say “She and I” instead of “I and she.” :)
