Hey Jeff, loving the series. In Germany on the Autobahn you have the so called "Rechtsfahrgebot" which means you must stay in the right lane at all times unless you are overtaking, which you are only allowed to do on the left. The far left lane is for fast cars/drivers only. People will honk at you if you constantly stay in the middle lane. Oh and please do a trip to Munich, my home town! Greetings
That yellow sign in the bottom left of your map indicates that it's a "Bundesstraße" (kind of comparable to highways with the yellow markings in the US). Blue signs are for the "Autobahn" (interstate). The different colors, shapes and numbers make it really easy to travel in Germany.
Rules of European motorways. Always keep to the outermost lanes unless overtaking (ie if you’re slow you always keep to the furthest right line). You get fined for hogging a lane (and rightly so)
You would be hated on for driving in the middle lane! Those are called Mittelspurschleicher by us in Germany. Those are people who just stay in the middle lane without the need to overtake or something. No one is allowed to overtake you on the right so you would just hold up traffic. This is just a tip to make you more aware of German rules and habits.
The first 1-3 letters of the licence plate indicate the city (B for Berlin, HH for Hamburg, M for Munich, etc) then you have 2 (random or customised) letters and then 2 to 4 (random or customised) letters.
Your ability to make all games interesting is a true skill. Have you ever thought of doing voiceover acting. Just a thought you have a unique a clear voice. You and Biggs are great. Keep up the good work.
The yellow box with the 85 is the road you’re on. So called “Bundesstraße” basically translates to “federal road”. And the 85 is just the number it was given.
The Fanfare is a different type of horn made to be heard at high speeds. If you sound the horn with the fanfare switch on the horn will be very different (Similar to a European police siren). Its typically only used in cases where brakes fail and the bus cant slow down, or if theres another emergency. In real life you can be fined for using it, but the game has no penalties related to it. Fun fact: On the entrance ramps to highways in the EU, you are expected to stop and yield when needed. Fun fact 2: Flixbus is a real company.
I too am a musician (drums, keys and bass) The Yamaha MOXF8 is a sweet keyboard, it's a bit pricey($1,500) but it has everything you will need (sampled)!!
Jeff, love your videos and your voice, it's so radio.... on a different note I purchased Bus Sim 18 thanks to your videos, it's amazing, I might buy this as well :) Keep up the amazing videos you bring too your public, you rock dude!
Hey Jeff, on Amazon you got to look at your best options. I bought some stuff off of there and got my brother a used trombone. I had to look for it for a while. Keep up your work!
I agree with this too, this is my favorite driving sim game as I love attention to details like realistic maneuver, realistic road noises, realistic road incidents like car broken down on the side of the road and stuff, although there is some glitches but all in all this is amazing game to play specially if you have a steering wheel device with a gear changer stick and a VR man that would be a lot more fun but sadly I don't have those setup haha!! :D
Jeff don't trust too much used product on Amazon, recently I bought the Apple BeatsX from Amazon, used, few things were missing in the box and the product itself didn't work properly.
the yellow 85 means : Bundestrassse 85. that is like an motorway just slower(country road). Bundesstrasse 85 is like Autobahn A4(just slower). for example: you drive on the highway east 85(autobahn A4) and then you use the country road(however it is called) which is in Germany called Bundesstrasse( and then a number)
Also, man, do I enjoy you driving/playing simulator type games. If highway sounds are relaxing to you, you talkin about stuff keeps me interested and make me watch the entire video w/o pausing or skipping minutes. Awesome videos, love your content, keep up the awesome work you've been doin'.
I bought a “used” laptop. It was still in box to the only thing missing was the Velcro strap to tie up the power cord. Saved 400 bucks. I got real lucky.
Re: New keyboard - Have a look on Amazon for a Clavia Nord Stage 88. I have the Revision B from 2006. WONDERFUL instrument! Highly recommend Clavia instruments. Pricey but worth every penny.
Hey Jeff. For the euro truck sim for pro mods make sure you have all the dlcs and the updated version of pro mods. If you have all the dlcs you might want to check how many profiles you have cause some of them can crash the game
Really nice to see you driving these kinds of simulators, love it. And btw the passengers prefer a 22.5 degrees A/C. The yellow 85 is just the road number, just like route 377 i.e.. Oh and one more thing, you really should get the switzerland/austria DLC because they have some awesome mountain roads that you'd love.
Jeff I found out some more things: You can click express check in on the online tickets and you can qr. Also passengers like the ac temp at 21 celsius. (Butchuered celsius)
Nicely presented video showing what this Sim is capable of. I also love your good sense of humor and find your videos very entertaining. Keep up the good work.
Holy hell the front seats at the top of the bus look amazing to ride on if not a little freaky for if the bus leans like it would in this game. Watching this I can't help but think about how nice it must not be to not have to worry about potholes every minute.
The sign that’s white with a black cross means unlimited speed limit, but only on motorways in Germany. It just says 100 because that’s the max speed of your bus.
The german taxis do have this yellow kind of color and that yellow sign, most of the time on the top. But the car model isn't really accurate, it should rather be like a Mercedes C-Class Also: The yellow 85 or whatever number is the “name“ of the street, if you're on the Autobahn it's blue and says some number. And: The roads in that game are not totally accurate, for example these ending lanes on the autobahn^^ I mean that would be deadly as f***. Imagine someone going 240kph and then his lane is just ending, hahaha. But yeah some is accurate but some stuff like that not. Hope this helps you :-) Greetings from Germany Everybody please like so Jeff sees this command :-D
When the truck doesn't let him on the highway...Wow this is the most realistic sim ever! At least in the US, I don't know what it's like driving in Germany
Have to say the game looks way better then before also i like to tell you that them 2 red buttons on the side of control are for the doors to open them and close them so you don't need to open them by hand. Also the radio stations are live ( goes by when you play )
Bought several reading books which I know that they are anywhere near the value of the keyboard that your looking at but they are still very good quality even though they are second hand / used
Hey Jeff, I have bought something used off of amazon too. I bought a camera and it came just like new. Amazon tells you what condition the product is in. I have also bought an rc plane on amazon that said it was new and it was broken. (They said it was new but the tape on the box was already cut). I think it really depends on the seller. Hope this helps!
Love your vids jeff thank you very much I'm a over the road truck driver I bought my first truck 2 years ago I started on hard trucks then went to 18 wheels of steel and still continue to play these sims now that flex bus Is launching in California hopefully there will be a dlc for it soon
Just make sure it’s amazon fulfilled if you buy used from there...less issues if something’s wrong better protection for yourself. From my own experience as I do a lot of s,Avon shopping for myself, family, and my Veteran non profit.
Euro Trucks roads are way more realistic. We rarely have the right lane as an exit lane. Usually there is a deceleration strip. In ETS 2 there are deceleration and acceleration strips at some exits.
It's cool to hear you talk about music and gear! Roland always is pretty good. Personally, if you're looking for used, I'd recommend Guitar Center, Sweetwater Sound, or other online music stores. I have nothing against Amazon, it's just that a lot of companies selling used gear on Amazon are sometimes sketchy looking. Just my opinion though. Good luck in your search!
To answer your Amazon question, yes I have. Just bought a used desk this past weekend, arrived yesterday in perfect condition. Saved $58 by doing that and can’t see the difference between used and new.
As far as the Amazon goes. I’d say to try it and if there’s something off just return it. I’ve bought some used stuff off there and it’s never been badly kept, just sometimes a bit dirty.
Jeff, in Germany you're supposed to drive in the rightmost lane unless you're overtaking somebody. Especially as a busdriver.
Hey Jeff, loving the series. In Germany on the Autobahn you have the so called "Rechtsfahrgebot" which means you must stay in the right lane at all times unless you are overtaking, which you are only allowed to do on the left. Its like that in sweden too
In Germany you'd be called a "Mittelspurschleicher" a middle lane lurker
In germany you always drive on the right lane when it's possible.
In the middle is better 😜
Jeff in Europe you can' t go on the left lane in the motorway with buses and trucks, you can only go in the middle and on the right lane.
The first 1-3 letters of the licence plate indicate the city (B for Berlin, HH for Hamburg, M for Munich, etc) then you have 2 (random or customised) letters and then 2 to 4 (random or customised) letters.
The sound on the bridge is expansion joints. I know some people can't stand it but I find it relaxing.
Jimmy Freeman Same here
Jeff, when you drove in the tunnel, there was a red X on the middle road, that means you need to move to the other lane
Mitchel Riebeek did u mean lane?
Itstheplayer277 yeah, just saw it xD
Oh Jeff... still opening the doors by hand, while you have buttons to do that for you... So adorable ;-)
I like doing it
And i loke waching it
Your ability to make all games interesting is a true skill. Have you ever thought of doing voiceover acting. Just a thought you have a unique a clear voice. You and Biggs are great. Keep up the good work.
Buggs
The yellow box with the 85 is the road you’re on. So called “Bundesstraße” basically translates to “federal road”. And the 85 is just the number it was given.
Even numbers is east-west and uneven numbers is North and South

You said motorway 😍 my life is complete
Jeff id love to see guitar videos or any music type videos from you
Jeff - Fanfare is a musical horn if you don't want to have the regular bus horn.
That double decker is nice. I love when you turn and your tag axles turn too. Also the engine brake/retarder most likely is on the steering wheel.
You have to be on the right lane as much as you can because cars officialy need to take you over at the left
Best bus simulation game ever in my opinion!
Jeff, I Believe Megabus (In The USA) Has Something Like That Bus.
Got the License plate nearly right :D its B XXX 111 instead of B 111 XXX. Loving the Content Jeff Keep it up greetings from Germany
I too am a musician (drums, keys and bass) The Yamaha MOXF8 is a sweet keyboard, it's a bit pricey($1,500) but it has everything you will need (sampled)!!
I WANT MOAR FERNBUS VIDEOS
So creepy. I usually sit outside in front of the fire and watch the bus Sim videos ... Just went to check and you just uploaded
Jeff voltage converter is for the usb ports for charging your mobile.
Jeff, love your videos and your voice, it's so radio.... on a different note I purchased Bus Sim 18 thanks to your videos, it's amazing, I might buy this as well :) Keep up the amazing videos you bring too your public, you rock dude!
I bought tail lights for my truck that were "used" but they looked brand new
Interesting that the bus is Flixbus. I took a visit with my class to their Berlin hq yesterday!
I want more fernbus simulator. Also the moon with the stars around it means you've unlocked nightime.
Hey Jeff, on Amazon you got to look at your best options. I bought some stuff off of there and got my brother a used trombone. I had to look for it for a while. Keep up your work!
it's not the motorway, it's the autobahn :D
I agree with this too, this is my favorite driving sim game as I love attention to details like realistic maneuver, realistic road noises, realistic road incidents like car broken down on the side of the road and stuff, although there is some glitches but all in all this is amazing game to play specially if you have a steering wheel device with a gear changer stick and a VR man that would be a lot more fun but sadly I don't have those setup haha!! :D

many internet trolls
I always like the Fernbus videos. Hopefully Jeff brings it back to the channel.
the yellow 85 means : Bundestrassse 85. that is like an motorway just slower(country road). So I've been driving in a lot of Neoplan Skyliners and it's a great bus. Really comfortable.
Those signs before the tunnel mean that trucks/buses are not allowed to overtake, but normal cars and vans are allowed to overtake in the tunnel.
I actually see a lot of double decker bus in the San Francisco Bay area because of the tech companies employees
Anyone else think that Jeff loves this game? Lol, keep it up man.
"DB as in DB Schenker" well it more like DB = Deutsche Bahn = German Amtrak
Im glad somone noticed
Police is called "Poli-tzai"
Police is called Police
I bought a “used” laptop. It was still in box to the only thing missing was the Velcro strap to tie up the power cord. Saved 400 bucks. I got real lucky.

Another fun ride. Thx Jeff
More videos please if fernbus
I've bought used cameras on Amazon and they worked great and looked brand-new. You save a lot of money.
Really nice to see you driving these kinds of simulators, love it. And btw the passengers prefer a 22.5 degrees A/C. The yellow 85 is just the road number, just like route 377 i.e.. The driver light should be off while driving, especially at night, because it disturbs you when you are driving.
Man, one-year-old and still getting comments. I hope you're able to do more of these Jeff :)
Thank you for amazing content.
You are very welcome!
Very interesting sense of speed in the sim.
Holy hell the front seats at the top of the bus look amazing to ride on if not a little freaky for if the bus leans like it would in this game. Watching this I can't help but think about how nice it must not be to not have to worry about potholes every minute.
Why is this so fun to watch! Your narration is on point! It is not annoying! I love your content, bro!
Can you in the next episode change the weather to rain? I love your videos.
The sign that’s white with a black cross means unlimited speed limit, but only on motorways in Germany. It just says 100 because that’s the max speed of your bus.
Very cool, Jeff. I actually prefer this game over Bus Simulator 18. It just seems to be a lot more fun.

More Fernbus, it's better than Bus Sim
the yellow sings with the black numbers are the routes (Bundesstrasse) and the blue ones are the Freeways (but you no that I think)
Hey Jeff, I have bought something used off of amazon too. I bought a camera and it came just like new. Amazon tells you what condition the product is in. Very gorgeous bus if i do say so myself! I love this series keep it goin!
Euro Trucks roads are way more realistic. We rarely have the right lane as an exit lane. Usually there is a deceleration strip. In ETS 2 there are deceleration and acceleration strips at some exits.
I have headphones on and I agree 100% the ambient sounds in this game is amazing

Hi Jeff you said you don’t know where the brake retarder on. But the brake matic is the retarder so turn it on.
I watch this before I go to bed, puts me right out.
1:00 DB means Deutsche Bahn..aka German national train company
Im planning on getting that neopan skyliner soon maybe tomorrow
Jeff wants to drive a skyline
As far as the Amazon goes. I’d say to try it and if there’s something off just return it. I’ve bought some used stuff off there and it’s never been badly kept, just sometimes a bit dirty.
Thank you Jeff i watched you since 100 K I love your X-Plane 11 vids
