I have experienced the amount of non engine space to be limited so if we were to play any “hand trap” I think it has to be something like shifter that’s high impact and we can successfully benefit under, also nice that it shuts off the droll that kills us.
just the benefit of shifter saving us from droll is enough of a reason to play it tbh, unless it gets hit by the time of release we just have to keep our fingers crossed .🤞
@@Zefrath the dogma package is also good, ripping from the opponents extra deck is fun. it also gives you access to fleur at end phase. but shifter/ droll turns off the package, so it all depends on the format we get the cards in.
I'm getting a lot of success playing Nekroz as a shifter deck. I think is the best build. I use a small impcantations package (lvl 6 x2, lv 4 x2, lvl 3 x2) + Pot of extravagance. Sometimes u open more than 1 impcantations but i feel it worth it, specially when the new nekroz spell don't care about exact tribute levels. Drytron feels mid in first turn, very weak to grave removal then about dogmatita... I always draw the brick instead of the spell. Shifter + some impcantations+ pot of extravagance feels the best version to fight meta
Yes, shifter is really good in that version because impcants dont mind being banished as well. Plus shifter means no droll and we hate that card. Generally ritual decks tend to lose to both droll and shifter, its good that we can dodge both now.
@Summonnod the fact that a lot of decks gets destroyed by shifter and it also counters Droll means Nekroz deck should be build around Shifter, no dogmatita/ drytron
Yea, that's kind of why i am a bit hesitant to focus mainly on the dogma builds. But what i can suggest is trying the xyz version i posted on the channel, it its alot fun. its like sharks but cooler and doesnt lock you into anything unless you use coral.
@@Summonnod after testing all builds, (Even drytrons) i had the most success with x3 Shifter + x3 pot of extravagance + small imcantation engine (2 lvl 3, 2 lvl 4 and 2 lvl 6). Even if u sometimes Open 2 impcantations, it's worth it. U can use Shifter before pot
This is great man! I playtested this, seventh tachyon is great but also hella risky in some situations that put a card back hurts a lil bit sometimes, i really like this version better then using pre pep and nadir servant with maximus, i think u r hella cooking, id love to see more once its been playtested more
XD, Thanks man. Yea, the double affect that seventh has kind of limits the play. But the more i play test on ladder i'm starting to see more cards that could be swapped out. I was also thinking that maybe board breakers and the seventh could be at 2s and try maining the Thrust. But what i'm tying to do is figure out the best endboard, because no matter the lines we need a solid and consistent endboard with at the least 3 interruptions.
@Summonnod you are correct, what I love most about this version is shifter mitigated pur greatest weakness of droll amd lock bird so that's a big bonus, I'm not a fan of going into a round with too many board breakers in my deck unless you are choosing to go second on dice roll. Theoretically going first u could use 3 preparation of rites along with seventh to add even more consistency and then side them out going second. There's alot to unpack but luckily there's plenty of time to unlock it's power before we get the new support in tcg
@@SpiritcuffsIndeed, the problem usually with ritual decks is that they generally lose to both droll and shifter but seeing that nekroz has banish plays it do make it alot easier to survive. But, we also have to see what the new banlist will do for us.
@Summonnod I'm also wondering if we can go beyond the toad nephthtys combo, it takes alot of space to not work under shifter , I like the levirtue dragon though
@@Spiritcuffs I think sharks could be an option, but we have to take into consideration the fact that mulcharmies exist. They can even draw if we special from the banish now ☠️☠️.

Do you think that the dogmatika engine could still work with the new support even with shifter?
@ oh man the dogmatika stuff is so nuts, i forgot about that. Maybe you side shifter and then side out the dogma package?

@ might just be one of those conflictions that we have to deal with! If it doesn’t get hit!
