The point is the nails are supposed to look as similar as possible, not too lang and not too sharp. To blend in, and to not hurt someone.
I had to make mine shorter once.
Also there are no bra-straps, some even prefer no underwear under leotards, but many don`t mind if you dye your hair a cool colour. Like I had deep red once for some days in DanceAcademy, and my head teacher even asked if I could get more of those so I could have that in the graduation show. I would have been the ONLY redhead.
So they let you do cool stuff too.;) Like Jojo and her sideponytails and bows.
