If you plan on doing grass in the back yard, a layer of nice top soil would help with watering! I wish we had that, we have sand and our water bill is $$$.

I just turned 27 this year, started my career, I’m having a big life change soon, and a lot of things are up in the air right now. This week my home was compromised in a way I wasn’t expecting and I fully lost my mind for a few days. I think because my safe space was impacted and I lost the little bit of control I thought that I had. All of this to say, I don’t know how you are feeling right now, but if you are feeling anything like I was, then my biggest advice is to give yourself grace. Whatever that looks like to for you. I’m trying to do that and it’s made things a little bit easier. But oh boy! Isn’t it tough to be kind to yourself in the midst of change?

The renovation has turned into a much bigger process than we originally planned for! We are ending up changing a lot more than we thought but it’s going to be exactly what we want so we are really excited 🫶🏼
