Age is not an issue. Repeating for JEE depends on what you have done in +1,+2 and your foundation in PCM subjects. There are only 6 months for the next JEE main exam!
If you are really interested in pursuing teaching field after graduation, it is possible. But focus on the engineering course and explore various opportunities for now.

They are giving atleast 2 attempts to secure a seat in iits which is more than enough to find a consistent, hardworking individual. So keep grinding.
