Deere has lived on their reputation for several years now, they aren't what they were by a long shot.
Many farms here in Western Canada (which has some of the very largest equipment in the World i.e. we manufacture 120 ft airdrills for example) have all switched to Case or Versatile as the JD just can't pull the big loads anywhere close to the competition.
And before you comment to defend JD's I am just telling you what the growers up here are doing that is all.

Shame the case fluffed it on the second run. I use to drive both in canada and the case's pull way harder than the deeres do.
Case would catch deere if it was longer track....

This Caseih Quadtrac have been powertuned, Its empty weight is much more than the Deere, but it just fly over the race. The JDrx maybe factory settings.
I’m not a farmer, but many of my neighbours are and run the Case QuadTracs.
It’s ironic that at close to a million$ per unit, regardless of Brand they are comparing pulling speed. I would think max weight pull, largest implements ready, price, mean-time-between failures, service intervals, maintenance costs over the life of the tractor and resale value would all play into determining the best overall tractor.
I’ll race either one on my Yamaha Grizzly, for as arbitrary as that is.
I don't think this greatly influences any farmers decision to buy one over the other. This probably is just for the fun of it, like sled pulling.
@@titaniummechanism3214Not true, the deere 9RX is known for having less torque and without the track extension to leave more room between the tractor and tracks, means it collects way more debris/mud than its case counterpart or other tractors. The 9RX is nice but definitely has a few more drawbacks when considering the tracks are made for the mud/rough terrain and mud pileup can really mess up tracks. This and less torque makes mud work better for the case in my honest opinion.
One thing that is never mentioned . Case I H quadtrack hit the market in 1993. JD quadtrack didn’t appear until 2015. 22 years later!
Power to the ground is what makes the difference.
The case transmission is faster shifting than the deer. Horsepower is horsepower.

The case may pull a tad faster but which one last longer and has a better resale
Resale max be better but case do last for very long time, we still use one of their harvester for 40 years and still going strong
@bearklassen6494 Lololol what? You’re comparing seat comfortability? Well I’ve sat in both these tractors and the seats are no different. Also, the case quadtrac is the smoothest riding tractor on the market and it’s really not even close

Not fair the case smokes like hell . It has approx 100 to 150 hp to much .

I wonder what made the difference here. If these are stock, the hp difference couldn't possibly account for that big of a gap between them. Transmission maybe?
I’ve heard the Deere 9rs are pretty slow to shift so that’s probably it.

Some FPT/Iveco engines are the same as Cummins, they have a partnership... Cummins B series and FPT NEF are the same one, for exemple...

It's more of a matter of choice. They don't have anything to do with luxury.
Here thy will not tell you if the John Deere 🦌 has the SVT transmission or the power shift transmission. The SVT transmission takes a 125 horse power away from engine torque the the power shift! If the case IH has a power shift transmission an the John Deere has a SVT transmission there not comparing the same. In the end of it all the John Deere will out last the Case IH on a 5 to 6 thousand hours Case is the biggest pile crap you can have because the iveco engine is a throw away engine thy only do engine cores no overhaul. The case transmission has had problems also with high hours my family has farms and by experience case IH always falls apart after 4 to 6 thousand hours. John Deere engine got 12 to 14 thousand hours before overhaul. Well I see we’re in the age of idiots like what goes fast is better ! No this is a idiot that doesn’t know anything about how long something last . To me I don’t even think the case has a hot body design I think it’s ugly.
