Great stuff! Back to the brown boot army! Oh boy, I enjoyed leading soldiers back in the 80s and 90s as a senior chemical NCO. War fighting is why the army exists. The army needs leaders throughout the chain of command. I like what the SMA doing to improve the NCO Corps In the current Army. An Army without standards and discipline is an army not prepared for combat. A platoon sergeant should be an expert with everything pertains to his platoon, soldiers, junior NCO’s, equipment of the plt and definitely people’s skills. Leaders must be in charge of their soldiers period.
