i wish i could hate this one again, usually such a classic should be left alone but this shits kinda dope gotta admit (to all the haters on the other latest videos)... after some listens i sadly have to ask why the butchering of the vocals ? ... one of the few pieces where the full vocalpart is just awesome and here it gets cut to death...
usually im you with these type of uploads, its not perfect and the original is ten times better but this is kinda alright... way better than the other stuff latetly (bassline feels off and missed opportunity to implement some of the drumkit loops from the original a little bit better, guitar would be better if played fully instead of only clips imo) tho aka would still not play it probably)
I respect the artist and have owned some of his vinyls since he called Djoko, I love his sounds and I have never criticized him as a producer ever. My comment should not be interpreted as disrespect, but as constructive criticism. There are some changes that I like and others less so, I am very nostalgic for certain pieces like this one by America, which is why I say that it would be better not to touch certain records, a bit like when you take an old movie and after years you release the followed, not always good work comes out, my humble opinion.
