I am coming to like V even more after this episode. His appreciation of the band and of music is really nice and shows me how much of an artist he is.
The duet with IU was beautiful and her rendition of Love me Again touched me.

taehyung and IU's chemistry, their bickering like friends and siblings, their cuteness together, their praises and respect for eo, how comfortable they are with each other, their vocals together. i just enjoyed it very much.❤❤❤

Thank you for watching this episode. Indeed, it was a fun episode and their duet is exceptional. V is an intense person. He has an old soul. He knows how to capture his audience's attention through his moves and facial reactions. His voice is as deep as the ocean as well as his persona.

Just finished watching, and you actually seem to have reach a pretty good conclusion of the type of person he is, Tae is a very comforting person to be around or just watching his live streams or listening to him talking in general, he is a free spirit and has a serene aura of sorts around him. Him and IU being friends was a surprise to us but he is a known social butterfly in the industry and keeps it lowkey.
His appreciation for music is no joke, and I think IU’s band was excited because not many artists gives them the time to shine musically, he even let the music breath on the album not just in live performances, which is a rarity cause most artists want the focus on them but he knows how to share and gives a good overall experience.
Yes I enjoyed his interaction with the band and especially with IU.

As army we listen 20+ unreleased V's self made insanely amazing songs prev 2 years and we having high hopes on kth2 with self written , compose and produce album by kim taehyung..
Because he's insanely talented in all field
I think what surprises V's peers and also his fans is that he's so into jazz and blues - genres one might not necessarily associate with a young Korean guy in his 20s.
But I'm in my 50s, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those genres. So his tracks on the Layover album, plus his older songs such as Singularity and Stigma, make my heart flutter. They fit his voice and sense of musicality so well.
Agree!! I’m 51 and find it just lovely that he’s settling into this type of music. Sooooo refreshing and just enjoyable to listen to. Excellent performance of a lovely album.
I am also in my 50’s and I so love Tae's choice of music. His vocal is very versatile and I know he can do a lot of genres. IU's vocals suit very well or blend very well with Tae's.

you got it right, one of the best parts on V solo songs is that there is always a place of honor for musical instruments, Each time a different instrument stars in his songs
You can see it in Winter, bear, Scenery, Sweet night, and on Sow Flower. (there are songs that he wrote/Composed)

I enjoyed your reaction a lot.💜 You talk honestly and no sugar-coating. I've known kpop because of him. I just started last year and still on the "knowing him" process, but I love all things I able to know about him. I think he is my dream persona (untainted-calm-warm aura, frank-honest, sensitive to surrounding, a keen observer and don't panic attitude). The first time I heard him sing, I cried though I don't know him (his scenery song).

We've known for years that V loves jazz. But what surprised me, personally, when the album came out was that the style was so different from previous self-written solo songs that he has released. He's such a wonderful songwriter. I hope you'll also react to his other songs and see what I mean. Winter Bear, Snow Flower, Sweet Night, Scenery. He often has an extended instrumental section in many of his songs. You'll also hear his ethereal high register.
PS: I'm obsessed with their duet. I can't stop listening to it.

They have such a great relationship as friends and as peers in the music industry. IU is older than V, and she has more experience not only as a song writer and singer, but also as an actress.
So in all respects, V would normally be using honorifics up the wazoo when he speaks to her. But I love how they are casual with each other and give each other a good-natured ribbing about things. But they also greatly respect each other as well, both personally and artistically.
Yes their chemistry was wonderful and close... like good friends.
Among the solo music released by BTS members, V's is the most different compared to popular BTS songs.
It's great that he is doing his own thing & building his own identity as an artist.
I also think it is a thing he needs to do to grow as an artist.

I love seeing you get to know him better! This Palette interview was really good. He seemed so comfortable in that setting.V’s been interested in acting for a while, he was in Hwarang in 2016 and does OST songs for dramas sometimes. A lot of his friends are actors - he has said how much he wants to act again someday, hope he actually does! It’d be really cool especially now that he’s older and more experienced.
Fun fact, IU and Suga (V’s fellow BTS member) have collabed a few times and are friends, he and j-hope (another BTS member) both have their own episodes too if you’re interested in getting a glimpse into them as well 👀

Yes V's actor who debuted in 2016 with drama " Hawarang " and it was urge of director to cast him because they found his acting ability and the charactor suits him well..
He got soo much praise as actor after that drama and got soo many calls for directors and producers but he choose his group BTS .
And prev 2 years also he gets soo many offers but rejected because wanted to release his album first ( he uploaded IU palette cut scene on twitter where he said this and also saud now he wanted to do acting if gets again offers )
So yes actor kim taehyung comeback soon...

Thank you so much. You definitely have to check out more IU. She has been in the industry for 15 years and is one of the top artists in Korea. Her songs are enchanting, breathtaking and she is such a sweet person. ... and yes 15 years in the business!... she is 30!
V has acted before in a drama called Hwarang. And V is a part of Wooga Squad which consists of Park Seojoon, Choi Wooshik, Park Hyushik and Peakboy. Wooga squad is a name of their squad. They are like close besties and all of them are very famous Korean actors. Choi Wooshik was in Parasite which won Oscar. Since V is part of Wooga Squad, he has lots of actor and actress friends. He is a social butterfly. That's why V and IU are close friends. Because V's actors friends from Wooga Squad has worked with IU previously in movies and kdramas. So there are lots of connections between them. V is also a very good actor. And another member of BTS which is Suga/Agust D has collabed with IU twice. He is the main producer of BTS. He has produced one of the most iconic songs of IU which is Eight. You have heard that song in IU's killing voice. It was written and produced by Suga. Also IU was recently featured on Suga's pre-release song of his solo album which is People Pt. 2.
He really is an interesting person. I will actually take a look at his acting just to see him in a different light.

yay thank you for watching this with us! as an army i had no idea that v and iu were close before this, although it makes sense because they have so many mutual friends. i loved their dynamic too, if you can understand Korean and understand Korean culture, you can tell that they're really close. v's personality is generally really friendly and he acts a bit like a kid (even though he turns 28 this year), which makes people want to tease him haha. i can't wait till you meet all the other members of bts! they've been around for 10 years and reached heights that most people can only dream of, but they never lost their humility along the way and still work as hard as they did in the beginning. all of them are so talented with different areas of expertise. i also recommend the other iu's palette episodes with j-hope (bts), suga (bts), and seventeen (only 5/13 members present for that interview)!
I will see when I do that. At the moment I don't want to start with a new boy group yet. Still getting into all of the Stray Kids songs, and as much as I am liking Stray Kids and V here ... I am still very much girl group centered and like female voices better.

Ofcourse there are those who were surprised, but it's really not surprising if you see what music he shared over last couple years especially. There also those "fans" who selfishly wanted smth different from him, so they might have been surprised as well, but those are their wishes not Tae's
3:17 that's one of the things that have been keeping me back from continuing learning the language, the same with japanese.. Is like learning 2 languages in one, because speaking in formal language has different words from informal.. Even for the numbers, there's a whole different word for the numbers depending on what you are counting or using the numbers for, is so difficult.
Yes it is difficult. I've got two thick workbooks here on learning korean and have been using duolingo. But other than words and Hangeul I can't do much myself. I can figure out a sentence written in Hangeul if I know the words... if I don't know them I can at least say them because I can read it... but that doesn't help me making my own sentences and surely not understanding all the formal and informal differences.
Exactly.. I can read the language and understand a lot of words, but for me to write it, differenciate formal to informal and speaking the language with my mouth, is very hard@@NeonReactionsPierre

He's a male i know 😂, but he really have that very unique highpitched voice that make some people who hear it for the first time really do think its a girl'voice(not him). V and Jimin, both of them in bts have a very unique tone but like complete opposite to oneonother. V has like one of the deepest kpopmale voice i've ever heard meanwhile jimin i guarantee you he has like the highest male voice u'll ever heard. just if u intrested, u can try to listen Like Crazy by jimin if u want. thankyou:)

they sound so good togehter but the IU cover of love me again didn´t suited her voice i think. V´s voice was made for it. IU dont have that soulful voice but she is amazing on a ballade tracks and the other songs made for her voice. but the duet they did was amazing
