Nice reaction, as usual. Such an under-rated song. So dark. Addressing a horrible topic in the most uncomfortable way for the listener. pedophilia told from the point of view of the perpetrator. With lots of allegories to parts of the human body such as "Mussels with fries" Saw them 3days ago in Cardiff. They were awesome.
@@wildwine6400 Nice. I didn't know, that it's also belgium dish. And now you mentioned this name, it sounds plausible. Cool. I remember first time I heard the lyrics with the song, I felt my blood freezing in my veins. Thank you.
Such a good song! As you said, the lyrics make it so unsettling, but so great. When Till says "Hallo kleine Mädchen. Wie geht es dir?" (Hello little girl. How are you?) it sounds so dark and scary. I love it.
The solo is actually Flake on keyboards while Paul & Richard are playing the riff in the background. When you add harmonic distortion to a synth lead patch it often times ends up sounding like an electric guitar, but this solo is definitely done by Flake. Nevertheless an amazing song with solid groove.
Everything about Halloman is unsettling and the lyrics describe almost perfectly an actual case that happened here in Wales,UK. Sing for me- scream for me in reality. The musicianship is excellent, the arrangements, everything is perfect. Without understanding the lyricd, you could easily sing along with it. Knowing the lyrics I'd another matter altogether. The Doon music, as you describe it, is suggestive to me of the act of killing before he disposed of the body in the sea, making the killer calm again, his aim achieved. Rammstein are too good at this, dammit!
As a german I understand it also. The instrumental part (Doon Music) represents for me the part of killing or raping the little girl. An absolutely horror song, musically presented on a extremly high level.
So under rated...so fucking good...What can you say about Till??!! Hope your going when they come over here SOON!! Thanks for the reaction!

Mussels with fries is a Belgian dish. Several believe the song to be inspired by horrificly terrible Belgian man Marc Dutroux
