Your channel is a goldmine! You rarely find good hard techno tutorials on FL Studio, most producers in the scene seem to use ableton! Please continue with these tutorials, you are helping so many people!
@@teknovault finally someone says it :D I mean I gotta admit that ableton probably has a more efficient workflow but what I love about FL Studio is the whole visual thing, like everything looks so distinct from each other which makes it easier to see what you are doing imho
@@raoulduke7668in fact, FL studio is a much less powerful daw than ableton (especially on the midi protocol). plugins and max for live also make it a much more interesting tool
This tutorial made me realise that the fun with kicks just never stops... I wanted to make one kick and ended up making like 8-10 different ones I saved for myself for later haha. Legit the best tutorial on techno kicks and just how far you can go with sound design. Thanks Jim
This tutorial is by far the best ever, because its a whole new approach. Never thought about using a FL-Project-Template as some sort of "Kick-Forge", where u can just come back to modulate and creating new sounds. A M A Z I N G !
I must say, this tutorial was a must have for a beginner like me, definitely worth the 2/3 hours trying to get something that I like while learning stuff. Although I don't quite get how did you manage to reduce the noise gate on the fly at 11:10 for example, I know there are alternatives in fruity limiter or Maximus but this looks so much more convenient. I know it's a 7 months old video but hey, you never know. Anyway, cheers !
how to make a full hard techno track from scratch like basswell/luciid/raxeller/orgie could be a nice input for beginners and advanced producers who use FL studio!
I had to watch most of this tutorial at 50% speed since you had an hour of info crammed into about 14 mins. I was however able to glean some info out of it. The expensive plugins used here have several alternatives which I have and used. Thanks,
Came to see if its just a reverb on kick ,but damn learned lot more, social networks ruined good content with short clips ...Very informative video!Good job sir
Just a tip, you can set a defaul t template with FL so that when you open a new one, it opens that default project. Never forget that pesky default limiter again ^^
hello bro, first of all thanks for the tutorial and the free pack, I'm a beginner and I want to produce Hard Techno, about future videos it would be a good idea to process open hats and closes and also rides ✌️
I can't handle the routing to new channels just to have a dry/wet signal. In ableton you just group the plugin in the chain and add a dry signal to that. Way less clutter but aside from my bitching, great video and I will apply these techniques...in Ableton.
As i am also ableton user....my eyes are literally just bleeding when i see all routing in FL looool...Why the hell its so fucked up?))) FL developers wtf are you doing to your users???:))))why you want your users suffer soo much? Ahahaha
I have a question, what happened to the first dry kick track you made (track 23) did you turn it off or did I miss something because I have total of 4 tracks but you do 3 for the kick before the high reverb part of the video pls I need help understanding..
Honestly I watch how he built it and it really great to keep feedback under control when the Kick is fed through a delat I think is cool because it gives you more options to texture, which has taken me a couple of time watching this but that just my to cents, I think its a quick method if we didn't use this method.
hey dude i bought the sample pack "TKNVLT - Hard Techno Essentials (vol. 1)" and the kick you are dragging in at 0:17 doesnt exist :( there are only 12 kicks in my pack instead of 17, as shown in the video
ggreat video guys. one query: I,ve tried to join the Discord server but hitting the Verify button leads nowhere. I'm new to Discord so am i doing something wrong?
Nice video and it's helpfull, i tryed to replace the valhalla with fruity reverb 2, but it doesn't work xD Is there a possibility to replace valhalla? Because i don't have it.
stop being salty lol unless you’re using the exact same everything as him it wont be exactly the same but if you actually alter the way you eq and saturate etc or how much reverb used to be more suitable to your kick you’ll have a better sound, just work around it instead of saying everything he did was ass bc these videos are useful for many many tips and tricks
@@minigac9876 I’m not salty it was a joke for any of my fellow bedroom producers to relate to! I actually am grateful for these tutorials and I learn so much from them. Keep em coming OP.
Top notch bro 💪. I'm not a FL user although easily translates to any daw really. So well explained and edited. This kick tuto beats up the hundreds I watched on RUclips. Very Nice tut. One Question. How do you edit Sample at 5.23???
The text in the middle of the screen is very distracting.

Great tut! But as it is so fast, a diagram would help that maps out, how things are really....
Nice one! What's your opinion on the Maddix Rumble plugin? Seems like a game changer
Honestly I watch how he built it and it really great to keep feedback under control when the Kick is fed through a delat I think is cool because it gives you more options to texture, which has taken me a couple of time watching this but that just my to cents, I think its a quick method if we didn't use this method.
man next time go aa little slower bc i need to put it at 0.25 to know where you pressed.
still good vid
Can I also just use Fruity reverb 2 instead of vallhalla room? I guess so right? Or are there important features that FRV2 does not have?
100%! Any reverb plugin works. Valhallaroom is a bit cleaner in my opinion, but both work!
@@teknovault Yeah I agree with that, though I still managed a good outcome with FRV2 as well ^^

Nice video and it's helpfull, i tryed to replace the valhalla with fruity reverb 2, but it doesn't work xD Is there a possibility to replace valhalla? Because i don't have it.
Try Fruity Reeverb 1 instead, I've found it works better! Also make sure to close the lowcut, so you have lows in the reverb
@@teknovault Thank you, i try it 😇
And that kids, is what happens when rawstyle producers make techno
To me, this technique will allow people to really push boundaries compared to just copy pasting 💪
Is there a way for the multiband compressor in serum to not make the high end very loud? It sounds like white noise
It's a bit harsh somtimes for sure... You can take down the high/mid/low band if you hover over them! :)
how i can view bpm in the hint panel???
Is the limiter on the master enabled ?
Should be disabled
link dead, i received the mail but impossible to download the pack
Could you explain in a bit more detail please? Please shoot an email to shop@teknovault.com if you can 💪
