Well, Epic Turismo 2 runs just fine on my PSP through the POPS emulator, an official one written by Sony. I wouldn’t be surprised if Epic Turismo 2 does actually run on real hardware. Worth noting though that SOME of Epic Turismo 2’s new assets were made under the assumption that you’d be running it in DuckStation with PXGP and Silent’s game enhancement cheats.
it uses the same tools as gt2plus, wuch has no problem running on my chipped ps1, so i don't see why it would not work i even think the creators affirped it works

The Cybertruck used the Suzuki Swift Pikes Peak Special livery and aero kit, used to be my favourite car in the whole game and I'd say that and the Renault Espace F1 were the two most OP cars of the whole game, it was many years ago so I can't remember if it was true but I litrally couldn't be beat especially using the Suzuki Swift, then again when I was using it I was was using a saved file my brother & cousin used and they're normally really good at customising cars on games but then again they used to make money by chipping and modifying consoles too so I have no idea if maybe they had done something to make that car OP, wouldn't surprise me if I'm honest as I remember at one point they were both racing each other I don't know if it was from the same console but it was on two different TVs on other sides of the room this was on the PS1 when there was no online and back then I didn't even know the Internet was even a thing 🤷♂️
Pro tip: Renault's special dealership shows the Espace F1 and the Nissan dealer has a Mexico button that you can click, it then shows the Tsuru. And toyota's dealership picture has been swapped by a Pod doing a heroic pose in the void
