- NOBODY EXPECTS HISPANIA is a 6 episode web series filmed entirely in Assetto Corsa, based on the 2023 Formula 1 Season.
In this take of the history of the sport, HRT stayed as the 11th team on the grid. It had the rocky start we all experienced, but in 2013, the team was saved thanks to Adrián Campos taking the reins of the scuderia and the assist of new sponsors. 9 years later, at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, while still battling for the back of the pack, the number 89 takes on a battle between the Aston Martin cars, but a sum of mechanical problems end up in a huge crash. After the fiasco, the lack of results and the damage, the team is ready to file for bankrupcy, but a new face steps in and offers to fix things.
This show is dedicated to Adrián Campos, and to all the people who worked hard in the HRT project, regardless of the end result.

Hey bro como hiciste la cinemática de la parada para que se vean los mecánicos? Gran video 🔥
La secuencia de la parada fueron más de 5 horas de trabajo. Hay un mod para mostrar unos cuantos mecánicos más (www.racedepartment.com/downloads/more-immersive-pits-mod.57613/ ), pero esencialmente, a la que haces una parada, se quedan en posición. Así que:
-Hacer una parada y poner compuesto a cambiar.
-Los mecánicos se quedan.
-Hacer otra parada y poner el compuesto nuevo.
Lo difícil es que la cámara se fuerza para que sea un plano visto desde arriba, así que tuve que editar las cámaras onboard para crear los planos, y seleccionarlas JUSTO cuando empieza la animación. También, aparece el HUD indicando el progreso de la parada, cosa que no se podía quitar, así que si te fijas, en todos los planos hay un elemento estático en medio de la pantalla. En post, pillo un fotograma en el que ese elemento no tenga el indicador del hud y lo sobrepongo (de hecho, si te fijas bien, en algunos planos puedes ver el recuadro por un cambio en la iluminación del plano). Así lo quieto se queda quieto, y lo que se mueve, se sigue moviendo.
