My opinion of Reese went down when she cheered on the sideline after Kennedy hit Clark with the blindside knock to the floor. Clark is a class act all the way. She’s an amazing talent that rises above all the distractions which is very admirable.

I think many players are upset because so many people are acting as though there was no WNBA before CC. If I were a veteran grinding it out for years trying to make it successful I might feel hurt. Not sure. But they have been trying to make this thing successful for years. All of a sudden this girl walks in and the hype, the fan base, and the media are suddenly going nuts. Many act like she is the only player that has or ever had talent. If I'm a veteran doing my best for years to help this league out I would say "I don't exist? All this grinding meant nothing to anyone?" I believe all the players appreciate the attendance, revenue, and excitement CC has brought. I don't think they appreciate that many people act as though they are low level citizens in comparison to CC. The media has a lot to do with it obviously, but so do the fans. Reese has shown a great deal of jealousy. I can understand it to a point. But she has surpassed the norm. She is an amazing player herself.
