It was a great interview, but it became painful to watch and listen to it. The background music is such an unnecessary distraction. I fail to understand why anyone would work so hard to put together an interview/documentary, and ruin the whole thing by adding music the background, specially when someone is speaking. By doing so, you are taking the focus away from the subjects. Only in Pakistani productions have I seen such a bad choice. Please don't do that in your future productions.

Well said Arrange marriage is actually assisted marriage.
Arranged marriage is taken in a negative light in the west.
In that sense the word arranged marriage is a misnomer, it is in reality assisted marriage because the boy and girl when they are marriageable get parents assistance to be wed.
It is part of the local culture and not against the religion.
The father plays the role of wali in Islam during Nikah and it is a requirement to marry their daughter.
In Islam you cannot marry your girl without her consent, marriage is a mutual contract, and the girl can opt for no second marriage in the contract and has the right to demand the amount of me-her, accept or reject the proposal.
Forced marriage is not accepted as Nikah in Islam.
Her consent is a must.
