Underwater is still getting too dark, too quickly. It’s one thing if there is a storm raging overhead, but on a bright, sunny day it shouldn’t be getting that dark. Water is strange because it actually blocks certain spectrums of light as you get deeper. The color red is the first to go, then orange, then you lose yellow. At 100-meters deep you lose the colors of green and violet. So at 150-meters deep, everything just looks like a black-and-white photograph that has been tinted blue (because blue light is the only spectrum that can get that deep). You have to go between 200 meters and 300 meters deep before things black-out (because the surface light just can’t get down there). I would think it would be relatively easy to implement a LUT filter to remove colors as you increase depth, but they seem to be adjusting total-brightness instead for some reason. The mask should also do a better job of clarifying the image. There’s not enough difference in the underwater blurriness between swimming with and without a mask. I’ve been a SCUBA diver since 1995, and I desperately want to love the underwater portions of this game… but I just can’t.
Would like to see new world lighting, gun sounds, recoil changes as well as new anti cheat method. Oh and blood, and gore vfx rework for shooting, attacking. And fix all animal types, ai.
Question about the wall upgrades, if a wooden high external wall/gate has been placed for a long time, then you upgrade to stone, does the demolish feature magically become valid again? If so, that would be a sweet way to redesign the compound if you messed up.
