I just got the alienware M17 R4 with 16gb ram, a 3070, mechanical mx keyboard, 360hz refresh rate, 2 512 gb ssds, all for 1400$ off of the alienware refurbished site after taxes, and I am shocked to not see one scratch or blemish or anythiing! Not everyone"s experience will be the same, but its definitely worth the risk, because you better believe I was ready to send it back. I used the DPA so i didnt pay a dime out of pocket.

Great review. Personally I’d only get a desktop refurbished as I can work on it. Laptop is another story altogether. Too many touch points.

The one I just got was the worst scratch and dent I've ever received from dell. Probably has 20 imperfections on the lid :( Also 1 dead pixel. I just returned the same laptop I bought new for the same thing.

im keeping it. Yes its ok to buy scratch and dent from dell. they have a 30 day money back guarantee. Use coupons as well. Performance is good. CPU and especially the GPU runs cool.

@@justinTime077 yeah, the outlet is annoying for this. They have laptops that show up a couple hundred below the usual outlet price and they sell out damn near immediately so you have to buy immediately.
