And those are just some of the stories he’s sharing as he talks about his days on the indies, his jump to WWE, and his surprise AEW debut at Double or Nothing! He also recounts his rock bottom moment at WWE, overcoming his recent injuries, and how things really work in his house with wife, Renee Young!

Notice Mox seems more comfortable with smaller interviews where he doesnt need to maintain eye contact. Seems way more chill.
That stone cold podcast some producer screwed him, he said to the producer he didnt want to discuss about his family, didnt want to bring up his past. But the producer ignored him and made the script to where stone cold would ask about his past and jon was like a deer in the headlights after that. Jon brings it up in the chris jericho podcast.
He reminds me of myself in some ways and im on the autism spectrum. I believe Jon is also a little autistic, its a broad spectrum and a lot of people are a little autistic. You dont have to be severely autistic. Not being comfortable with eye contact is often a sign of it. I wouldnt be surprised anyway. Either way, hes great and im loving seeing his rebirth away from WWE, he looks so much happier.
The Fox 88 that could be a possibility he did mention being a kid and having adults diagnosing him and wanting him on meds. And he does have this almost obsessive fixation pro wrestling which could also could be a clue.
@@softmoxymuffin2351 Its a possibility. He may be, he may not be. Either way he has personal issues and despite them he has succeeded and made his way to the tippy top of the mountain and is now living his good life. Pretty inspirational. I hope he wins the belt tonight, lets go Mox!
@@themightychinful yeah alot of therapists etc and people in that sector firmly believe everyone's on the spectrum to a certain point, and they're correct obviously but some people just dont get it. I had therapy for a completely different condition a few times and it wasnt until my 3rd therapist mentioned me taking autism tests that certain things made sense. Especially the social aspect of life and how I react I diff situations depending on the amount ppl around etc

i can relate so much with Mox at how socially anxious he is when being interviewed. i can’t really speak face-to-face with anyone, especially with people i’m not really close or comfortable with. great interview nonetheless. hope Tony and Aubrey weren’t offended.

I love how they just let him talk, so many interviewers just talk over people the whole time.
Jon Moxley is a guy who can relate to fans. The ones who struggles with the WWE and saw AEW as a beacon of hope that reignited his passion. When his contract was up we said leave the WWE and restart.
Thats so annoying. They interrupt with their own stories and then the person being interviews never finish answering the question because most of the time they move on.

I wish I could tell Jon that he was the main reason I got back into wrestling. Heard of this group called the shield and saw this guy who sounded real when he did promos. Kinda had the same charisma as Stone Cold. Started watching WWE again but overall I was disappointed by majority of the wrestlers. The matches were still good quality but the storylines seemed to go the opposite direction of where they should have. Kept watching anyway because I knew this Dean Ambrose guy had potential. Watched the infamous Stone Cold podcast and the issue crystallized for me. This Dean Ambrose, the new champion, is hampered by what WWE wants him to do. Kept watching anyway and saw so much wasted potential. Thought maybe the heal turn was the time. Nope. So when he left, I left too. I had no other wrestlers on there that I attached to. Then all the AEW stuff started to come together and I was "please Dean, dont be finished. This is your chance" Then the Mox trailer hit and I felt the first excitement about wrestling that I had since I heard of this dude from the Shield.
Point is, Jon was all worried about us thinking "Oh look, its the hotdog guy" meanwhile I was thinking "please Mox show up at AEW so we can see what you can really do when set loose"
Thank you Jon and AEW. This is the first time in decades since Ive been this excited about wrestling. I havent popped this much since Wrestlemania was in its late teens.

He got me back into wrestling I had quit watching wwe around the time he started but I knew who he was from watching czw and him in aew brought me back
I became a huge fan of him when he had that rivalry with Seth in 2014, he was definitely my favorite wrestler at the time

His eye is fine. Only time i didnt see him sell the injury was in a fan photo from the airport. When he doesnt have it on in aew or njpw he just closes his eye most of the time hehe

Bret Hart has influenced and was an icon to sooo many wrestlers he changed wrestling into more technical faster style or was an originator
Well his father stu hart was main reason. He trained lot of wrestlers in his hart dungeon this style like dynamite kid, Chris Benoit, Owen hart, bret hart, brain pillman and many more. Bret was first wrestler in usa popular that's why they think he was the influencer which his father did
