Unfortunately there is no way to prevent all air bubbles, but there are a few things you can do to minimize them. Be sure to "condition " your clay. When it first comes out of the package or if it's been sitting for a while, you'll want to condition or massage the clay to warm it up and work out any air. Also, if you are folding the clay over on to it's self, be sure that you aren't trapping any air between the folds. Run a roller or your finger along the fold line to push out any air.
