Articuno was included for a free retreater but greninja seems better overall so just cut the articuno for ninja (or jirachi when it comes out) and you're set 💪
to answer the status conditions bug: yes you did evolve out of the conditions, however they remained visually. You did not take a second tick of fire damage and you did not flip for confusion (instead, you flipped for the Swim Freely attack)
Holy shittttt. I just stole your deck list, except for dropping a judge for radiant Gren to speed up early game draws. Just went a VERY quick 4-0. I know the ladder just reset but DAMN. I think my favorite thing about this is, the deck is just FUN. Not really a huge skill gap in playing it, except for knowing when to play certain cards, but that’s every deck. I had a Chien-Pao, and Char Ex deck that I had been running that normally got me around Houndoom tier. Sometimes a little higher or lower. But this just feels like a deck I’m just gonna stick with. Not because it’s super overpowered but it’s just stupid fun. Thank you for the deck list and fun times with this deck, I’ll keep enjoying it!!!!
Great video, deck looks like a lot of fun! Question, what is the Articuno for? Didn't see you use it in any of the games and this didn't seem like a deck that needs a free retreat pivot. I assume you'd never actually attack with the Articuno since you'd have to manually attach just to do 110. Sorry, I'm probably just missing something, but if not, could be a cuttable card for a Rigid Band?
@@ForTheWinTCG Hey thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, Greninja would be a solid choice to help draw/setup. Band could be clutch in some situations, but Greninja is probably better for consistency. Anyway, just won my first game with this deck against a good Chien-Pao/Bax/Arceus deck. His cancelling cologne play made it a close game, but it's crazy how consistently this deck can respond with a big OHKO.
This deck is great, and the comment you made on Sableye: By next set, with the introduction of Jirachi, Sableye shouldn't be a problem for this deck as long as you can have Jirachi bench-sit for you, and you can just search it out pretty easily with Artazon/Nest Ball. But yeah, great video! I'm definitely gonna have to try messing around with this deck.
@@xero18 It's the Jirachi from Paradox Rift, it's a basic 1 prize pokemon with an ability that works essentially like Manaphy currently does, but rather than blocking out damage done to your bench pokemon, it blocks basic pokemon from attatching damage counters to your benched pokemon (So, basically just stops Sableye from using Lost Mine on your benched pokemon. Sableye can still go for your active, but that's it). Paradox Rift comes out in November of this year.
@@emberpowertcg7692 Thats fair, albeit you'd have one jirachi and one manaphy each in the deck, and jirachi would only be in the deck in the first place to deal with Sableye so you aren't going to be using it every match. You should be able to know whether you will need manaphy or jirachi by turn two. The solution at that point is to just not use Skwovet in the Lost Box matchup, it's a small price to pay to lose your draw power in exchange to not have your bench decimated by Sableye, especially against Turbo Lost Box.
I completely missed this seaking has swim freely. I've been wanting to use that abikity for a while now. Very nice deck. There is also a stadium that makes your water mons take 20 less damage I think that could help against cram. It also helps it too but you are nuking it anyway so I dont think it matters.
This seems insane in the current meta. With so many lowish hp 2 prizers running around, and being immune to path just seems so tempting to not try it out.
May also want to consider running 1 Cancelling Cologone in the event of Klefki counters just so you don't get locked out of playing the game. Least with Irida, you can search it from your deck. Don't really know what I would cut for it is the problem.
Vibes of Chien-pao, but....Finneon can just be rescue-carriered back + being a basic that can be just dropped back onto your bench. You can keep going even if someone boss-ko's it, unlike having a single baxcalibur and having that KO'd, which torches Chien-pao.
@@WhyDoBabiesStareAtMe and it's the second gameplay/visual bug i didn't know about i found out today, on top of the other ones that can directly affect gameplay. whens the toadscruel fix?
I'm looking forward to see a variant of this deck with the new kingdra ex in the new deck that with seadra has swin freely and kingdras hydro pump does 50 damage fo each water energy attached to kingdra ex and its 2 coulerless energy to attack.
I thing dewgong may still have space in this deck idea. I mean was 2 energy only (from 80) and from over 6 energy attachment was better. I know was back to the deck, but 1-1 line, is at least fun.
Add Eldegoss Add Super Rod 2 Switchs 1 more energy Get rid of skwovet and articuno 1 stadium reversal energy 2 escape rope maybe replace iono you didnt use it a whole lot but it does help.
Swapped the bird out for the ninja but this is definitely my favourite deck you've done. Won the last 5 games, even PTCGL can't stop me with it's 4WE, 2 Bidoff and 2 superior energy starting hand 😂
Cuz it’s a stage 2, so you’d have to have horsea, kingdra, and rare candy (or seadra for manual evolutions) and putting 3 evo lines in a single deck would make it even more clunky. In theory it’s a great idea
@@ConnorKrohnicles yeah I get that, and I figured it would be like I said. I just wasn’t sure if it may have been considered I didn’t recall anything being said about it
Not to mention that it's a prime target for a boss/ko. Hypothetically it would work just fine but in practice there's just so many better options considering all you need to get finneon rolling is some card draw. What might be a more interesting combination is actually replacing Baxcalibur in Chien Pao with Finneon and making the Seaking your backup attacker.
Dunno why everyones gassing this, i played it and 2 games in a row i have no basic on start (first game requires 2 mulligans) then inteleon urshifu slaps it after taking too long to set up Second game same thing, no basic then open bidoof with no other basic or decent support to get going. Deck just gets stuck on bibarel pass, same as other rogue lists too whilst the other decks have a KO turn 2 or are accelerated deep to a point where u have nowhere to build up from. Honestly idk if its PTCGL being terrible, decks just being out metad or all these youtube vids posted are just smoke with no actual consistency. Literally went around and tried multiple YTers lists, all gigabricking
I just go in with the mind set if it's not a hyper competitive deck, it's probably going to have a few games where draws aren't great and you brick and loose Could always change up the list ig and try out some more draw power
this deck list doesnt have it, but is better tu add basculin and 1 vip pass for setup and greninja plus try to always start second for irida basculin+vip pass

I'm replacing Baxcalibur and any backup attacker in Chien Pao with this.

Definitely think this deck can absolutely use the poppy/Greninja play.
Evolving does remove status so it for sure is just a bug.

It was included for pivot but tbh I didn't really use it so it's definitely the first thing I'd cut, maybe for the band or for greninja

Id also like to add that the 1 reversal energy is a bit odd but god that comes in handy ❤

Can I use Nessa in this deck?
Imagine your fire dragon getting one shot twice by a little fish and some rodents
