Malachi Corley is going to be so much fun!
Matt, thank you for what you always do, giving that info and details on this team we love so much
@@jayboy1395 Thanks for your support Jay Boy! I really appreciate it and I feel blessed that I get to do this every day
@@MattOLearyNYevery single year yall think yall are gonna be a problem and end up winning 7 games.
The only problem yall have is being in a League you guys don’t belong to 😂 nfl too much for your mediocre franchise.
I was screaming for him since the Senior Bowl.I couldn't believe they went out and got him.Steve Smith Jr said he was a top 5 receiver.Would take someone's job.Holding the best for him and the team.
YAC YAC YAC! The Jets are back!!! Let’s F’ing GO!
He's going to be a great dump off option. Rodgers is not going to want to hold onto the ball for long and if we want to add extra protection with an RB Malachi is going to running quick outs and short crossing routes. He's got that ability to take those plays from 5 yard gains to 12-15 every time which is a skillset we have been missing for a long time. If he can do that twice a game so it opens up intermediate routes downfield that adds another dimension to this offense.
JET UP BABY
I like the sound of that. I truly like the way you think. Yac baby, all game long. Let's freaking Go
It cant be overstated how big of an addition he is. Ideally he should be 3-4 (maybe 2) on the team in targets and if he’s only in the 500-700 yard range, that’s going to help this offense a lot. There’s upside for more but luckily we’re set up to where the offense isn’t coming in and needing for him to be a Day 1 savior like some past skill players (Garrett, Breece, MC, etc.)
Tremendous breakdown!
Seriously, a commentator that's not hating on our beloved Jets. I don't kno what to make of that. I'm speechless
If Corley can bring over 500 scrimmage yards, and 3+ TDs id be really happy with that. All on offense that is, not counting returns
Only thing that can hurt the Jets is the coaching, let's hope there going to change!
Thank you Matt love your content.
i don’t mean to be a downer but i don’t get all the talk about corley being a demon after the catch. i saw some of his highlights and YES he runs towards contact but i didn’t see much film of him “running people over.” i will say he doesn’t go down easily which is a great trait to have! regardless, i think with this offense we just need him to get few yards after each catch and he’ll have a great rookie season.
I think the keys to the Jets offense will be in the run game. Last year with our QBs lacking , teams stacked the box and limited our chances in the run game . People underestimate how much running helps the offensive line and once established lanes will open up for AR and company. It’s also complimentary for a defensive team to eat up some clock and keep our D fresh . Teams will have to pick their poison, either stack the box or play pass and get burned by a hall of fame quarterback. I’m excited for this season
Finally someone who knows Football n this Team!!!
Yes, I agree, the Jets have to build up on a well-developed offense style, and YAC might be the foundation stone with the players that we have.
He's the YAC King for a reason. So psyched for this guy!
While Corley may have been the YAC King in college it might not translate in the NFL.
@@harlanabraham7772 How about some optimism... SMH
@@matticusmars254 Would love to have some optimism, but, many things haven't worked out for the Jets. Remember Jace Amaro? He was supposed to be a good TE/WR. Didn't work out. Jets picked a WR from Georgia. Couldn't catch the ball. Last QB's Jets drafted, both in the first round, didn't work out. Also, Jets coaching staff may leave something to be desired.
@@harlanabraham7772 People like you are the exact reason I can't stand interacting with this fan base. EVERYTHING is doom and gloom.
The guy was targeted and drafted by our front office for a reason. They clearly saw something in him that could benefit our offense.
You can remain skeptical. I'll be optimistic.
@@matticusmars254 Everything isn't doom and gloom. However, what has happened over the last ten or so years should raise red flags. When I see that he works out with the Jets I'll be happy. However, Jets have drafted so many players that haven't exactly worked out. And the coaching staff doesn't exactly give me optimism. They aren't close to having a winning season since they came here.
Killer work dude!
If we get top 10-15 level of offense, & our defense coming back even better this year, no doubt we got a recipe for success
This should’ve been The HardKnocks season!!!😊
Lizard is going to be a huge factor in yards after the catch….
Now it is not because of any of his catching abilities… no sir, it is because he is one of the best blockers as a wide receiver in the league. I watched him ball out for years in that aspect. Now they definitely shouldn’t be paying him what they are but that ship has sailed but he should be out there blocking his ass off for the rest of them boys.
Let’s go baby!!!! Let’s goooooo
Lizard? 😂
The only question in NYJ is, can Rodgers still play ball? And every fan is secretly holding their breathe.
Let’s Go!
“Temper our excitement as a fan base…”. All my life.
5th or 6th in targets is a bit low.. i see 3rd. He may be ahead of Williams.
but Hackett is still the OC. He is and will be the huge zit on the face of this offense in 2024.
I think its probably time to admit that most jets fans care more about the off the field stuff than the on the field. It's more fun
All the great offensive talent wont make a bit of difference if the Offensive LInee falls apart. they need to resign Jet # 60 and the available lineman from Green BAY. He use to block for Aaron back in the day. Need depth depth depth!!!!!
That handwriting thing is going to find its way into and nfl broadcast this season 😂
Can we start with him not being a problem with the Jets before him being a problem for the NFL? We need to stop crowning rookies before they have even played 1 snap, especially with Hackett at OC.
Most menacing Malachi since Children of the Corn!
5th or 6th? Zero chance he could very well be 2nd no lower than 4th
What does Garrett Wilson know about WR’s?????
More than you I’m sure
@@emiliothepoet you had to have caught the sarcasm in my reply, right?
Let's go!!! God bless! Jesus Christ is King and saves and is the way! Psalms 62 - "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken." Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Praise God
Lets Go Malachi
In your info you put Garrett Wilson twice my brother
just updated! Thanks for letting me know
That's just ridiculous, something has to give. He's no good to nobody sitting at home.
Hope that he is the exception to the rule.. and maybe he is but simple fact is that rookie WRs tend not to contribute much in the first year when they are not strong route runners.. And what is the MO on him? Great after the catch but not a strong route runner.
Rodgers can play backyard ball with him. You know," go 5 yes out turn left. You got 3 seconds. #8 will make it easy for him
Can’t depend on Williams being heathy so this kids gotta play. Lazard sucks I don’t wanna see that bum out there, he dropped the few good passes Zach threw. Dude looks blind he’s always squinting lol, how TF you gonna watch passes when your half blind 😂🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Wish I could like this comment twice god bless family
No ear to this....
NO ONE...is analyzing our 2024 opponents.
Shameful.
We'll see what happens come pre-season. The offense may go through the run game but defenses will dread facing off against Corley in November and December. It's going to hurt! Especially with that other hard-hitting running back they picked up this year in the draft.
It'll be interesting if the offensive line holds up in the passing game.
Smash mouth football
